The location is excellent - right in Chinatown - close to excellent eateries, the river and Pasar Payang. The hosts were warm and gave helpful recommendations - felt like we were staying with friends. Rooms were clean and comfortable with air conditioning! We stayed in the superior rooms which was on the 2nd floor. We did not hear street noise and had no issues sleeping! We parked the car 1 minute from the Lodge without any issues.

The rooms are on the first and second floor and the property has no lift. The receptionist helped with bags which was helpful. Not an issue for us -for consideration for those with mobility issue.

Everything! Perfect location right on Chinatown’s doorstep. Our hosts were the most welcoming lovely family who were on hand 24/7. Full of smiles, wonderful advice and even a helping hand at ordering breakfast from the incredible community favourite restaurant right across the road. This lodge is immaculately clean and secure. It has two entrances, one from Chinatown’s cobbled street scape or from the river side parade. Both ends of this traditional house have balconies to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon beer whilst watching the street below. Even though we booked the cheaper double room which didn’t have windows we were blown away by how bright and airy it was. We booked this property for one night expecting to quickly explore Chinatown and move on, but ended up staying for three! Highly recommend this amazing stay!

1. Location is within charming old historic of KT Chinese Town. 2. Not far from MPKT Terminal but its more comfortable to use Grab Service (If you got luggage). 3. Famous attractions nearby all within working distances. 4. Muslim friendly (Kiblat direction), clean & spacious room size. 5. Good water pressure and hot water temperature. Towels provided. 6. Good AC performance. 7. Comfy bed and pillow.

Super strategic location. Beside Pulau Warisan food bazar, river side, Walking distance to Pasar Payang, heritage Kuala Terengganu Cinatown. Super friendly and very informative local host. Facilities suit with the price.

A family run business who are concerned with the travelers needs. The rooms and its surrounding area are extraordinarily clean. This is the cleanest accommodation I ever experience in Malaysia which includes 4 star hotel.

Slight setbacks: Lack of sunlight and view. The room needs a paint job. Wish I have my own fridge though.

Great location (restaurants, cafes, food stalls along Pulau Warisan, Turtle Alley, Pasar Payang and Dataran Shahbandar within walking distance). Room was spotless and spacious, well equipped with essentials and fantastic view! Full of old-time charm (lantern light fixtures along the hallway, decorative façade, wooden slate blinds and marble dining table sets) Owners were extremely kind, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Overall, I had a great experience at KT Chinatown Lodge. Thank you Mr. Lorenz and family!

In the middle of chinatown, only 10/15 minutes walk from bus terminal A lot of restaurants nearby, 5min from 7/11 Great staff, they gave me a card to re-enter the hotel after the checkout as my bus was late in the night They advise to go to Chrystal mosque and the Museum...

The location is good. The room was spacious and got all the facilities in here, it's so convenient. Most importantly, the room is spotless and the bed and pillow are so comfortable. The host Mr. Lorenz and family are very helpful and friendly, I managed to rent a car so last min through the contact given by Mr Lorenz, I also went to a few attractions suggested by him. Overall, I have a great stay experience here. Will definitely stay here again if I'm in Kuala terengganu.

The room, toilet are very clean. Bed is very comfortable too. The lodge is operate by the family so they will do their very best to meet customers needs. Lorenz and son are very friendly and helpful, provided very good tips on hidden gems, attractions and great food nearby. Overall it’s value for money. We will definitely return to stay here in our next trip to Kuala Terengganu.
