Well, what's not to like? The location was perfect, a short drive to some great hikes, several decent restaurants within walking distance, a quiet room with a super comfortable bed. All great, but the big winner was the staff--Jenn, the owner, provided us with incredible suggestions on hiking that were aimed at our comfort and "equipment level"--we came with rainwear and boots for the bogs. Every evening settling into the lounge for some pre dinner gin and post dinner whisky. The breakfast was wonderful--smoked salmon and the creamiest yoghurt. We ate dinner at the inn 2 times and it was quite good as well. Highly recommended.

The location is perfect to explore the Isle of Skye, they even have a book with tips of places to see. The staff are friendly and make sure you have everything you will ever need. The rooms are the most comfortable we have stayed in and the bed is like a cloud, you will get a good night sleep after exploring the beautiful Isle of Skye. The breakfast although only continental is superb and dinner was beautiful as well. The sunroom and sitting rooms are a beautiful comfortable way to relax and have a coffee, which is free if you are staying the night. I would highly recommend Atholl House to anyone considering a holiday on the Isle of Skye, you will not be sorry. We will be back for sure!

Nothing everything was exceptional, if it wasn’t the staff would take care of it straight away away.

Our host Jennie gave us a beautiful first class experience!We felt like we were treated like her family rather than just guests! Our room was spacious and comfortable and our meals were excellent with lots of options! All of her staff were so very kind and friendly. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about Skye and gave us lots of useful tips. The snug had a warm cosy fireplace and comfy seating and the lounge room was bright and airy again with comfortable seating and views of the sheep and sea nearby. Meeting Jennie's parents for a pre dinner drink was also a highlight of our stay!!We would definitely suggest Atholl House to anyone wishing to stay for a few days on Skye. You will not be disappointed!!

A suggestion would be improved lighting around the mirror area above the sink.

Comfortable room with a good view. Continental breakfast always had plenty of choices. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Plenty of off road parking. Great fluffy and large bath towels. Coffee and biscuits replenish every day in the room with the option of free drinks from a machine downstairs 24/7.

Wifi kept dropping out. Electric shower was not very powerful. Quite overpriced but then so is everything else on Skye.

Warm and cozy accommodation, with very friendly staff. Comfortable bed and pillows; the room and bathroom equipped for everything you might need for one night stay. Suitable for longer stays as well. Very good location to make a pit stop if you are exploring the island. Good continental breakfast, with a nice variety of fresh fruits. Very good restaurant close by where we ate great sea food - The Old School. 15 min drive to Coral Beach.

The hotel was very pleasant especially the beautiful large room on the first floor, very well maintained. The staff was very nice and friendly and I got all my wishes fulfilled. I had a very, very nice stay of 5 days with a good and very rich breakfast. There are many beautiful sights on Skye, I would have liked to stay longer. Thank you very much. There was nothing I didn't like.

The staff were fantastic - so friendly and helpful! The room was spotless and so comfortable, and we loved the guest lounge. After a day of hiking in the wind and rain, being able to sit in front of the log fire with a few drinks was heaven - the great range on the drinks menu was an unexpected bonus! Everything at breakfast was so local, we'd definitely be back!

Lovely staff and very nice furnishings throughout. Great selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc in room. Only continental breakfast available but good choice of fruit, yogurts, cereals, croissants etc.

I was a little disappointed with the evening menu selection as there was no chef as such so there was jacket potatoes, cheese boards etc with one or two specials like pie with salad so if you have children or are looking for veg and chips with your meal then it may not be to your taste. There are very few local eating places in Dunvegan and we were advised to book in advance which is good advice. The old school restaurant next door is a better restaurant selection I feel.

We loved everything and of the four properties we stayed at in Scotland,this was everyone’s favorite! Jenny and her staff were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We were well fed and the food was excellent. We asked for packed lunches and couldn’t have been more pleased with them! We had a place to play games, eat, drinks, a great bar and the rooms were all very quiet and calm. Seriously, our beds were the most comfortable of our trip. Super place for families, friend groups, solo travelers and couples (we saw each type of traveler).

Facilities and staff are excellent. Was the most comfortable bed I have stayed in. However the meal on Saturday is a choice of platters. I feel you should have a choice of platters or hot meals. Especially in October when it’s chilly.
