The Mielparque Hotel was a good place to stay in Hiroshima. It was easy to get to the hotel from the train station by taking the #2 tram. It was a little hard to find the right building because the signage is in Japanese, no English, but thankfully Google Maps took me to the right spot. My room was very comfortable and the AC worked well. I appreciated the mini-refrigerator and the kettle in the room. The breakfast was good, although could have had a few more western breakfast items to offer. I thought the hotel was good value, and was well located near to the Peace Park.

It would have been nice to have a few more western breakfast dishes on the buffet.

This was an older hotel with quiet and comfortable rooms. It was amazingly located with easy walk to Atomic dome, shopping and restaurants. A tram stop outside to Mirajima island ferry and Bullet train railway was perfect. Wonderful Japanese and western breakfast included. Very few Western tourists when we stayed, which I quite enjoyed.

Hotel was quite dated (which I actually liked: think 1970's retro).

The location is really good by being able to walk to the Peace Park in minutes. The staff were welcoming and very helpful especially with organizing the shipping of our bags from Hiroshima to Kyoto. The rooms and facilities were also very clean. The breakfast included was also very good and convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would come back here to stay.

Location was right next to everything you want to see in Hiroshima, except Miyajima island of course, but highly recommend taking the boat ride to the island from right next to the A-dome, at least one way (~¥2300)

Not a big deal, but the hotel’s name on the building is in Japanese, and there is only a small placard near the entrance saying the name of the hotel, but it’s in a completely different style and colour to that on the building, so it was a bit confusing. Also the hotel felt a bit old, but was clean (except under the bed), and it’s not expensive at a great location. I think the air vents don’t work as intended because sometimes randomly you can smell a bit of cigarettes, presumably from a smoking room. Again, nothing too serious (as someone who absolutely hate the smell of cigarettes). One more thing, the windows are not the best to keep out the noise of the streets. I didn’t have any problem sleeping though.

Excellent location to visit Hiroshima for 2 days: Peace Park, main shoppinng/eating areas nearby. River "Heritage" speedboat to Miyajima at 5 min. Central Bus station is accessable directly from the 3rd floor of the hotel. Streetcar(tram) 2 direct to Hirodhima station. Iwakuni is also easy to reach. Excellent breakfast Huge room

The name of the hotel is not marked with latin letters, it can be missed easily if you do not reed japanese I missed instant coffee in the room

The location is ridiculously close to the atomic Dome so if that's what you're looking for then this is the one for you and the room was very spacious and the staff were wonderful

The breakfast choice from a westerner perspective is not great I spent two days there and I only have the breakfast on the first day because of this and I ate very little then

Great location - link with SOGO and bus station, can access the hotel through the entrance on the 3/F (near the post office). Helpful staff - the young lady (front desk staff) was really helpful. Cleanliness - even the room was not that big, it offered cleaning service everyday.

Mielparque is centrally-located and accessible to all modes of transport. We were pleasantly surprised that there's a direct access to the bus station from the hotel because it was raining when we checked out of the hotel. We thought we will have a difficult time reaching Hiroshima station but we were wrong. We reached the train station without any hitch. Thank you Mielparque Hotel!

None. The hotel is wheelchair-friendly. My mother in law on wheelchair was able to visit Peace Memorial Museum easily.

Great location, the bus from the Shinkansen station arrived in front of the hotel, and all the main things are 1 block away The rooms are big and they have frigobar

I hace a problem with my reservation and they put me on a smoking room, but they change me to another one after I told them.

The location was difficult to find - the placard name was not in English. However for future reference, it is next door to Japan Post, if it might help others. It is close to the main attractions for Hiroshima. Check-out was great - the gentleman help to write a Form to send luggage to next destination in Japanese and also double-check to ensure it was correct - felt reassured he takes pride and that my luggage will arrive.
