My recent stay at the new Osaka hotel was very convenient, as it is located very close to the subway and train stations, making travel around the city quite easy. The hotel was impeccably clean, and despite having a "Do Not Disturb" sign, the housekeeping staff ensured that fresh towels were provided regularly, which I appreciated. The only minor downside was some street noise; however, it wasn’t very loud, and I am unsure if the windows have double glazing. Overall, the hotel offers a comfortable environment. It seemed that most of the guests are Japanese, which gave the hotel a local charm. Regarding amenities, complimentary in-room coffee was not available, but tea was provided instead. There was free coffee available at specific times in the lobby area, and additional coffee could be purchased during breakfast at the restaurant. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would recommend this hotel for travelers seeking convenience and cleanliness in Osaka.

The staff was very nice and could help me with all my questions. For example one time I didn`t understand how the window was functioning and asked for help, closing it. The receptionist just swiftly and politely came to my room and showed me how to close the window. I liked the design of the room and how cozy it was. The location was near of one of the biggest traffic hubs of Osaka, Shin Osaka Station. A lot of typical and high quality japanese restaurants are located in the station and you can easily find your connections to other parts of the city.

Because of the neighbouring station it was a little bit loud. But I did expect it because I deliberatley chose the location to be connected to a lot of public transport options. Because of the surrounding high buildings, one hadn`t a lot of natural light in the building.

Friendly helpful staff, and a very convenient advanced check-in option. Super close to the station with metro, JR lines, and Shinkansen. Decently spacious room. The bathroom was fantastic, and the shower temperature adjusted so fast! The toilet is behind a solid door with an automatic noise machine in the room (that can be turned on/off), so it feels very private for an en suite toilet.

No full length mirror for making sure my outfit looks ok. There was only one mirror in the room, it was behind the sink with one overhead downlight, which was very bad lighting for doing makeup.

The room, bed and bathroom were all very good Location to the railway station was so convenient and easy to access. Staff were friendly and helpful

The hotel should advise which entrance to use when arriving. We arrived at the back entrance and had to walk around the block as did another customer who arrived at the same time. The site never mentioned there is no elevator, only escalators Many people like ourselves are not comfortable taking luggage on escalators especially when going down.

This hotel is wonderfully located next to the train station. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were great, and the shower pressure was second to none. If not for the beds, I would definitely stay here again.

The beds were like sleeping in the floor with the added convenience of being at bed height. They were so uncomfortable and the single pillow didn’t help. I’m an American traveler so maybe this is a different standard. But I did not sleep well.

The relationship between price and quality had a lot to do with it. I was looking for accommodation for 7 days near the station and it was found. Although the room I got was not wonderful, I gained a lot of time and peace of mind by taking my trains just a few steps from the Shin-Osaka Station. Although it can be a little noisy due to the proximity of its facilities, it does not stop you from sleeping at all. I think you gain more peace of mind knowing that you won't miss your train by having to walk too much. And another thing, you are in Japan, obviously the rooms will be small.

Because the rooms seems to be a little neglected and old, they look dirty (compared to other nearby services). If you see something like this upon arrival, it is better to tell the staff so they can clean it and give you your room a little cleaner.

My train to Hiroshima was delayed from Tokyo and left Shin Osaka before I arrived. I had to make a quick decision at 8 pm to book a hotel at Shin-Osaka station. I was able to request the room right away. New Osaka Hotel was right next to the station with two sides to enter through (B1 for reference). Right next to a 7/11 so I could get some food after a stressful day. The room was small but accurately described. I LOVED that the switch for the bedroom light was right next to the bed. It did the job I needed it to do. I would stay here again if I find myself back here.

The room was a bit small, only suitable for one person.

(1) The big rectangular room - it was so spacious (26m square) that we could have 3 large luggages left open. (2) The rooms (large twin rooms) were very clean, useful and quiet (although the hotel was very very near to the train station). I believed our rooms were recently upgraded as they looked different from the photos shown on booking.com. All furnitures & fixtures seemed pretty new. (3) Its location - less than 3 minutes walk to the Shin-Osaka Shinkansen Station where there were plenty of eateries and shops. There was a 7-Eleven equivalent less than 50m from the hotel too.

(1) The shower water - not sure whether it was from an old storage heater or all Osaka water was like that. Some of us had skin rashes (not too serious) after a few nights. The water looked clear and clean but occasionally had a chemical smell. It just felt like the water in Osaka was not as clean as in Tokyo.

The location was very near the Shin Osaka station so it makes it very easy for us to take either the metro or the Shinkansen. There is a convenience store nearby so it was good. There are many places to eat at the train station so it was very easy to find food.

This is the only hotel we stayed that has no mineral water bottles provided.
