The staff was great, the price was affordable. If you come with a car, this is an excellent option because the hotel is not in a no-driving area but is close to the city center.

Pretty sufficient 2-star hotel at a nice location nearby cafes and restaurants and not too far from the world famous tourist attractions of Florence. Indoor garage option was great for an extra charge (definitely not expensive compared to the regular Florence rates). The lady at the reception speaks prefect English (for non-Italian speakers). We were 2 people but our room had the capacity for 4 people. Room was clean and had a/c. Breakfast was good enough. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly. There is a small elevator in the building. Price-value ratio was great.

This is an absolutely wonderful hotel! The staff are very friendly and nice! The room was incredibly clean and well equipped. We got a room with a jacuzzi, which was really cool =D In addition, the breakfast was very varied: different types of bread, cold cuts and cheese, fruit, juices, tea, coffee. There was even corn (or rice?) crackers, which is suitable for people with gluten allergies. According to the map, it seems that the hotel is far from the centre, but that's not the case. It's a 20-minute walk to the main attraction of Florence.

Everything!!! Best decision I’ve ever made. Totally worth it. Just one bus ride from train station. The hotel can also help get you bus tickets. So convenient location. There’s laundry wash and dry nearby just 3 minutes walk. I’ve booked in 5 different places in Italy but this is the best by far. Totally recommend to everyone even with little kids like mine. The best bonus of all, the staff were helpful and friendly and fantastic breakfast with savory choices as well and their pastries are really good. Fresh and super tasty.

The receptionist went above and beyond for us,she made sure every question we had was answered thoroughly and with care.💯 Cleanliness was top-notch, not just in the room but throughout the entire property. Everything smelled fresh, looked new, and was very well maintained.✨️ The food was excellent tasty, well prepared, and satisfying.🥰 Overall, there was nothing missing. Everything we needed was there, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!👍

We had a wonderful time here in Florence and that was especially due to the outstanding service provied by the staff at Hotel Orcagna. We had breakfast each morning inside and were always greeted kindly with delicious food and cappucinos!

One thing that comes to mind is the bathroom situation as it is not its own seperate space but just a part of your room and the shower has no door that you can close. Another thing is how far it is from the center which we were aware of before we booked but regardless, keep it in mind.

Boutique hotel with friendly and wonderful staff. We arrived before checkin and the staff were so accommodating. On entering the room, it was spacious and very comfortable and very clean. It has everything you need from coffee and tea making options. Breakfast was included, and it was amazing. The staff were exceptional. This was truly a great find and would stay again. We love Hotel Orcagna!

One downside is the distance from the train station, but once you find it, it is definitely worth staying at. A little gem in a city rich in culture and history!

staff was wonderful - extremely helpful and friendly breakfast was more than sufficient and tasty room and hotel is kept exceptionally clean close to public transportation close to really good shopping - both for personal items and a good food market - close to good bars (coffee shops) and a couple of restaurants close to wash and fold locations at reasonable prices

our room was one of the rooms with the sink in the room and the very tight bathroom had a glass pocket door that, while one could not see through it entirely, one could make out the image of the user. Dressing in the bathroom was difficult.

The property was super clean and the room was amazing. We had the top floor suite with the hot tub that overlooks the city. Just simply wonderful. Location was great because it was only a mile walk into the heart of Florence, yet it still had tons of local restaurants that were just AMAZING.

One small thing is that there were belongings from a past person in one of the drawers but it was not big deal. We just moved them. The AC unit also dripped the whole time, but we just put a trash under to catch it.

Staff was really helpful and friendly. Location is decent. It is a 25 minute from the historical center, and a bit hard to get to from the main train station, but there is a nearby area with plenty of restaurants and shops. Rooms are decently equipped with everything you might need for a short stay. Breakfast was satisfactory, but nothing special.

The biggest negative was sound isolation. There is none. It is like walls are made out of carboard, and doors are even worse. You can hear anything going on outside of the room, which can be problematic if you are a light sleeper. Make sure to bring earplugs if that is you. It is a bit of a bummer that breakfast in only served until 10, especially if you are on vacation and would enjoy to sleep in a bit. But, there are nice cafes nearby which can serve as an alternative.
