The location of the hotel is by far the best in all of Manly but that also means you have to be prepared to put up with the noise of the evening revellers. The Hotel Steyne is a go-to location for locals and visitors alike and it can get rowdy on Friday and Saturday nights so if you're going for a relaxing and restful time away, best avoid a weekend here but if you're up for some late night fun, Stay at Hotel Steyne is the perfect location in Manly. There were some issues with the centralised heating system on our first day but that was quickly sorted by the staff. The breakfast on offer was good with a decent variety of options available. Our room was a little on the small size but when you're in Manly, the last thing you want to do is stay in your room. But hands down, being in the heart of Manly, even for a winter getaway, Stay at Hotel Steyne is a great choice.

Location and proximity to my work appointment

Noise from patrons was audible until early hours. Not too instrusive but in the background. No street parking, only a parking station nearby. To be expected because of the seafront location but none-the -less inconvenient , especially in heavy rain. The nightly food special was very ordinary, the vela schitzel was was dry and the coleslaw very salty.

really huge place with amazing rooms. private bathroom and really good price. same day booking, lots of rooms available. bed was so comfortable, tv was awesome, and the rainfall showerhead was fantastic. would definitely stay again in the area. lots to do indoors there also, several different bars and kitchens.

rooms were a bit small, but to give some of that up to have a private bathroom is totally fine. wouldnt sleep in a room that small if i had to share a bathroom still so completely not an issue, perfect for 1 person but for 2 would be a bit squishy. window didnt really open even though i was on ground floor, would have been nice to be able to open the window properly for a breeze. and no peppermint tea in the tea selection 🥲 my favourite personally, i settled with a chamomile so all is well though hahaha no stress!!!

The security of the room made me feel so safe as I was travelling on my own 5. I loved it It was very comfortable secure safe and a good feel vibe in the bar / restaurant eating area ms Above all I think the security of my room was the most calming as as soon as I had settled in as I was in my own I felt totally secure My final comment is the service by staff was so professional and always willing to assist with a smile . In short I loved it and will be back Margie

The location is fantastic. The bars are top notch.

Confusion at booking in meant we didn't initially get the rooms requested and meant some juggling around the following day but it was done apologetically and politely. My only real issue was the music started up at about 7.30am and the bass made the room vibrate. I totally understand it's a great party destination but I don't think there's a need for loud bass at that time especially if you've taken advantage of a few drinks the night before yourself! Despite this it is still a great venue.

An amazing location and the room was fitted out beautifully with a great shower and comfortable bed. The AC was great. Great for a solo traveller if you're not spending a lot of time in the room

There were a few small things. The room fridge wasn't working so consequently I had some food which wasn't stored properly. The stuff in the fridge was all warm. There's no kettle in the room, but a mini coffee machine for hot water which was fine as an alternative. The TV didn't have a remote and unfortunately there was no natural light as the window was blocked off as it was a internal facing room)

Noise from Adjacent hotel on Friday & Saturday night. Noise from Rooftop bar Friday night. No breakfast included in our package without advice Bathroom maintenance needed attention. I.E. wash basin tap came off in my hand twice Once when we asked maintenance to fix it and once straight after he did. Water pouring out under shower door flooding the bath room after a shower. Either the rubber seal on the bottom of the door is non existent or drain was blocked

location was excellent and room was large, clean and spacious and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was very good and having the kitchen decked out with basic cutlery, cups, plates etc was really good.

The stairs and needing some fresh carpet in the bedroom and a few more furnishings on the balcony and in living room, ie. another couch maybe! The old disgusting carpet really made it look run down, when the bathrooms were lovely and the bed were comfortable. Having no lift working meant a lot of stairs. If the lift was working, it would have taken it from good to excellent.

Location, facilities, cleanliness & friendly staff. Food was really good, especially the included breakfast. We stayed mid-week, so crowds were not a problem either.

We chose an oceanfront location and got a room with no natural light. The single window was frosted glass and positioned near a flickering TV screen. As a result, the room was extremely dark. Housekeeping was hit and miss. Garbage emptied, but dirty crockery was left behind and coffee pods/milk not replenished during our 3 night stay. There was a general impression that the majority of staff were new or in training.

Great location and a spacious 2 bedroom apartment.

Hot water seemed to take forever to come through to the shower.
