-Love the Nicolai Fechin wood reproduction! *It would be helpful to have signage(or staff to mention, consistantly)that the Taos Musuem of Art/Fechin House/Studio offers discounted pricing to guests. The admission is discounted to $8 per person. -The decor is very nice, very "Taos". -Loved having the complementary laundry machines and soap. -Staff was friendly and helpful. -Enjoyed the BBQ grill and the Rocking Chairs -Wonderful,walkable location to the Plaza -Quiet location, wonderfully tucked back from the busy street -Lovely Kit Carson Memorial Cemetary(& park) right next to the place

We were really disappointed to hear the City of Taos no longer has a viable recycling program. We suggest that the hotels in the area do something about remedying this. It was SO hard for us to not be able to recycle the paper, cardboard and plastic!!! We are spoiled by our City's exemplary recycling program and efforts. Take an example from Mpls.MN! **It would be better for the environment to supply the body wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioners in pump containers affixed to the wall. Please stop with the little bottles of plastic products! -Also,we were hugely disappointed to not be able to open the window in the bedroom or bathroom. We want fresh air,not air conditioning, especially at this location! We were told they can not be opened because the windows would fall off the building!

This is a beautiful resort. Since it's a members' club, rooms are not often available, and we were lucky that an offer breifly appeard on Booking.com. The location is fantastic--right behind the Fitchen House/Museum and just a few minutes walk to downtown/plaza and a short driive to Taos Pueblo. Our apartment was large, clean and nicely furnished (fireplace we didn't use in the bedroooom). I loved the deck which, although it looked out over the pool, had mountain views. The staff were helpful and coffee and cookies in morning were a nice touch. We really appreciated the little kitchen area as well as the guest kitchen which had a full sized fridge/freezer. The lobby area is gorgeous and while we didn't use them the exercise room, library, game room, and other guest facilities were really nice. One of the nicest places we've stayed. A great deal for the price.

We had no complaints at all about the property. The only negative was that they charged me a $40 "lodging tax" that was not stated up-front anywhere. In addition to the city and other taxes already included on our bill, we paid almost 25% in taxes. It's not the charge to which I object, but rather it being added on without notice.

I love the location which was so quiet at night as it is back behind a beautiful small museum. It was close to a lot of good restaurants and the main part of Taos. I so enjoyed walking the area. The staff was very nice and helpful. I did enjoy the small kitchen and sitting area in my room and a patio outside as the weather was gorgeous while I was there

The city of Taos has some of the worst drinking water I've ever tasted. It tasted like it came out of a chlorine pool. I'm a little biased as I have a well but they only had one container of water near the coffee station and they did not refill that during the day so I was stuck to buy bottled water which I really didn't want to go to the store as I was busy with a workshop. I think they should have enough water for people to fill their water bottles for the day and have a picture of water in their rooms as I couldn't even make a cup of tea as the water taste is so bad. They were doing construction but they hardly worked when I was there on the pool so that really wasn't a problem other than looking at it boarded up.

So much more than we expected… a clean and well outfitted small apartment.. Quiet, away from the road.. good coffee ready in the lobby in the AM. Beautiful, clean pool and hot tub. The lobby was lovely,, nice place to sit and read.. the front porch was pleasant. Easy to walk to the small town of Taos…. There is road construction going on but that was manageable.

I can’t think of a thing I didn’t like.

We loved our stay at this charming, quiet & comfortable resort. The staff were friendly & helpful. Our studio offered everything we needed for a 2 night stay, including a small outside area for early morning coffee & breakfast. I loved the good sized swimming pool & hot tub as well as recreational area upstairs.

Just a suggestion, could a leaflet as to ‘how to get online,’ be placed in each bedroom.

I enjoyed the serenity. It's very nice to walk to the plaza instead of driving through traffic and searching for parking.

Although the mattress was okay for one person, it seems to slope towards the middle. Not having a bedside table is a bit of an inconvenience.

I love the lobby and library room. I also liked that there is a kitchen where you can cook a meal for your family.

The only thing that could have been better was if there is some kind of signup sheet for the game room. We tried several time yo play pool but there was a group that monopolized the table our entire stay.

The outdoor balcony made the room… seeing snow on the peaks brought smiles. Also, the pool table and free, excellent laundry.

We were confused be the instructions re the WiFi… and pairs for it because we didn’t know the Promo code was with our keys; we rolled in late in the day; a bit distressed coz my wife had been fighting nausea for 48 hrs. I missed the promo code tips when the very nice checkin lady told me about it… thought i head we’d be reimbursed for the charge. My bad. Other than that it was absolutely perfect. And the Murphy bed we’d been concerned about was very comfy… no prob.

There was no breakfast but coffee was good, the staff was friendly and helpful, laundry facilities were convenient and free, parking was adequate, room was well appointed with small kitchen area and appliances. Convenient location.

The motel name I booked under was not the same as on the signage . The lettering on the signage was small and long hand, hard to read. They changed a damage deposit of 250.00$,

This is the best place to stay in Taos! Easy to walk everywhere, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the building itself is beautiful, with woodwork made in the 30s by students of Nicolai Fechin. It’s behind the Fechin house, secluded & peaceful. Not super cheap, but very reasonably priced.

Nothing.
