Although it is 20 minutes away from the center of Nusa Penida, this hotel, located at the top of the island, offered us breathtaking ocean and jungle views, allowing us to experience true serenity. Right next to it was a stunning temple where we had the chance to witness a ceremony—a truly peaceful experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and while the island itself can be quite chaotic, this hotel is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Anyone looking for a peaceful retreat should spend at least two nights here. Our view was so mesmerizing that I could sit and watch it all day. This hotel is a solid 10/10. Since access to the island is challenging, don’t expect five-star hotel comfort, but you can be sure that they provide the best possible experience with the resources they have. Additionally, the people in the nearby village are incredibly friendly.

I like the location of the property, you can see the wonderful and picturesque view of land and sea.

Limited food choices

We stayed one night ar Mere Sea View Resort & Spa. It’s great, quiet place with beautiful views and pool. There are no cafes or shops near by, but we were advised about it by the hotel even prior to our stay. Room service is available so you don’t have to worry about the food if you don’t feel like going to the town. Staff at the reception spoke English and was very responsive to all of our questions/request. We loved pretty much everything about our short stay there and would definitely come back.

If we stayed longer, we would prefer to have some kind of closet/wardrobe for our clothes and power sockets close to the bed, but those are really minors.

The view is amazing, staff are extremely friendly and really helpful, they go beyond to ensure everything meets your needs.

Spent our honeymoon here. We had a room in the ground floor. It was excellent as it was close to all resort's main facilities - billiard, pool, etc. Had breakfast, dinner all were just excellent taste. The highlight of our stay was definitely the service which was amazing. They really know how to make you feel special. The best place we have stayed. We will be returning for sure!

When we arrived, we first checked out the view from the balcony which was just breathtaking. The surroundings of the hotel are covered in lush green nature. It is always so quiet, which makes it perfect to relax and recover from the busy city life. You can oversee the island and even see the ocean from the pool area. The location and view are just stunning! Also, the rooms have a beautiful interior design and are very comfortable

I loved everything about the hotel. It is more stunning in real life compared to the pictures! The staff were one by one exceptional. So thoughtful and kind. They really made our stay in Nusa Penida feel like a dream. I can't express how amazing our stay was at Mere Sea View Resort. We are for sure coming back! If you are whether to stay at Mere Sea View or not, take my word for it: you will not regret it. Amazing value for money. You will have the best vacation.

The view from suite room is amazing ,its exactly what they have shown in image...the sea view and mountain view. The staff is very gracious. This place mere sea view resort is worth a stay for couples if you love nature .

The hotel’s staff always treat with respect and staff spoke english. The hotel and room is well clean, tidy, and calmness, also the room and swimming pool was nice with ocean view. There are no cafes or shops near by, but in hotel there a restaurant with a nice & delicious food, also we spent our time and enjoyed our food while enjoyed a golden sunset from rooftop restaurant. We would definitely come back!

The hotel staff is good. Although it is a new hotel and we are the only one in the hotel. Staff is also accordingly less. The view from hotel room is good. The room is neat and clean.

The hotel is a little far and not very easy to reach there. So late at night, you can't move around. And nothing is in the neighbourhood to roam around. You have to book a taxi which is a bit expensive as no other mode of transport is there. No grab facility. But the hotel staff help you to book a taxi from local vendors.
