The hotel was near the car park very central.We we’re not sure what to expect so when saw the hotel we were very pleased.The accommodation is basic but very clean we had a delightful view from our window.. We had clean towels every day .so spoiled For the price we paid it was so much value for money.We had lunch on the terrace which we bought from a shop nearby.It was ideal and again lovely views. On our second night we shared some company with the owner ,we felt very honoured to join them and find out about Bruge. If it’s 5 star luxury you are looking for this hotel is not for you it is a work in progress and I wish the owners lots of luck with how they are going to progress in the next year.We will certainly be staying at this hotel again.

Bruges has been on my bucket list of places to see for a very very long time but it was near end of a long Europe trip and I only had 2 full days. When we checked in the staff gave us a map of the city and exact routes to take to walk all of it and maximize the time we had. They also pointed out other places to eat/drink that were fantastic. I would be remiss to point out that I traveled with my 66 year old mom and she has an artificial leg and they found a chair for her so she could have a proper shower which many places in Europe could not (or would not) accommodate. They made sure my experience in Bruges was fantastic. I would highly recommend grabbing a nice bottle of wine & going to their patio on the 3rd floor for a wonderful view that was a great way to end every day.

No complaints, at the price they charge its the best way to see Bruges especially if your like me and on a budget.

The location was perfect for our visit to the Zandfeesten antiques market, which takes place just outside the hotel. It is easy walking distance to all the local attractions and food places. The breakfast was superb. There was added interest of the team cutting the hams on the vintage slicing machine. The decor was really tasteful.

We had two single beds, which were a bit on the small side and not very comfy. They were also very squeaky, so not a very good night sleep. This was the only drawback. Everything else was perfect!!

The room was great and I especially loved the shower. They made the room every day and it was very clean, which is a must for me. Finally, the location was perfect.

I have not fully understood why breakfast was not available, although it should have been. Perhaps, differently from other hotels in which I have been, there should be more staffs available, but (i) this did not create me any problems, and (ii) I understood that it was a vacation period.

In April 2024, I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bliss! The location is simply perfect, with bars and restaurants nearby and just a few minutes' walk from the historic center. The breakfast is complete and offered at a great time. The service was especially attentive; we were greeted kindly and received excellent guidance and tips about the city. This made our visit even more special, as we discovered places we might not have otherwise known about. Congratulations to the staff for the excellent service and valuable recommendations!

I was nervous staying here because of the reviews but I did truly enjoy my stay here. It is in a great location and easy to find. Even though no one is available at the desk after 11:30 am, I was still able to contact them. I sprained my ankle on my last night and one of the agents, she brought breakfast to my room since I couldn’t walk and then Lorenzo went to the pharmacy to get ankle wrap and pain medication for me and personally wrapped my foot. I am traveling by myself around Europe and I’m so grateful to have had great hospitality from the staff here.

I think the carpet needs cleaning. The room smelled a little Dewey.

Perfect located close to everything. Loved the view from my room to the Belfry Tower. Overall really clean and loved the location. Was a hot day as well, and the aircon helped a lot!

It was quite noisy in the evenings. You would hear the people either above or next door walking as the floors kept making a cracking sound. I move a lot when I sleep, and the beds also kept making the cracking sounds, which was annoying if you are trying to go to sleep.

Very helpful and accommodating Staff. Nice rooms, clean.

Hard to get into tub and then stand in the sloped bottom to shower without slipping. However when we asked about it, they very kindly accommodated us by up grading our room to a larger one with a walk in shower at no extra charge. Thank you so much!!!!!

The breakfast was great along with the location. We were able to walk everywhere in Brugge. Fantastic views-We were on the 3rd floor and had access to the balcony that over looked the square and our view from our room overlooked the steeples of Brugge

The toilet light didn’t work and the bathroom tap was loose

Nice quiet location only a short walk from the central market and train station. All local attractions close by and a lovely choice of restaurants and cafes close by.

Taxi driver on first day charged us €15 wanted cash so charged £20 to the central market place a 5 min ride!!. Careful of them! had we realised things were so close and there was a free shuttle never seen
