LOCATION A 6 to 7-min walk from the Santuário. I was able to start my day with meditation in the Capelinha das Aparições and in the Basílica, before breakfast, on both of our recent visits. GARDENS The beautifully laid out gardens, with walkways, are a treasure. The only detail missing, for some strange reason, are garden benches to rest on upon one's return from, say, pilgrimage along the Via Sacra. Or even just to have a chat with fellow pilgrims. ROOM We stayed in the new wing, which is comfortable and well lit. The best feature in the room is a bedside reading light with a flexible neck. BREAKFAST Of all the hotels we stay in -- in various parts of Portugal -- Consolata serves one of the best breakfasts: plenty of fresh fruit, cold cuts, hot and cold options, homemade pancakes and cakes, several varieties of Portuguese breads (including my favourite Pão de Deus), nuts and seeds for your cereals, lactose-free milks and yoghurts, and much more. To top it all: one wall of the dining room is all glass, with a stunning view of the Basílica.

The lack of benches in the garden. On our most recent visit, our room did not have a safe, and because the hotel was fully booked, they were not able to move us to another room with a safe. Not ideal.

Great breakfast with personal service from waiter if needed. Rooms and every area was clean, neat and organised with a quite and peace that was so refreshing and with 3 chapels it made finding some spiritual reflection time easy. Amazing fully stock gift shop with low prices compared to everywhere else and most of the stock is made in Portugal and Italy.

It was clean, well kept, comfortable. Liked the drinking water dispenser and the gift shop at the lobby of the hotel.

The breakfast was always the same and used a lot of canned foods, and the cut melon was not fresh. Dinner was good and also good value with soup and dessert included.

We received a warm welcome, as it was winter the heating in our room was off but after mentioning it to reception, it was sorted and heated was restored in our room. We had dinner at the hotel which was good value and enjoyable. We also enjoyed the free parking in front of our hotel. Thank you Louis

Great location. Near the sanctuary

Our room was almost perfect since we had a view of the sanctuary bell tower and we were at the corner but I don't k own what room was directly below us that there was a constant noise if chairs being moved and it gets too irritating vene mate at night like after 10 pm

I had requested when I booked months in advance the type of accommodation I wanted. They said they had no request and I showed them the email and then they said they couldn’t give it to me unless I wanted a subpar accommodations. I was not happy about the rooms even though they were nice.

All workers are very friendly. They always try their best to grant client's wishes and needs. In my whole stay in this Hotel, I feel like I'm at home. I would highly recommend this Hotel to my family, relatives, friends and colleagues. Moreover, this Hotel is very clean and the breakfast Buffet have a lot of variety to choose. Browser

Fantastic hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, plenty of parking right outside the entrance of the hotel, the room is beautifully decorated with good air-conditioning and a large bathroom, comfortable beds with plugs beside the bed. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice in a nice dining room.

There was nothing to dislike.

Excellent location. The hotel is located away from the main road making it really quiet. Breakfast was good with a varied selection. We only stayed one night but will definitely return.

Only negative aspect was that the shower leaked.

Breakfast was great and many choices. Reception staff and met also some housekeeping staff, really nice ones an this is a plus. Room was ok not as maintained as expected but large room. Free parking large and very nice. Bathroom had all needed, and a plus was the bathtub as a relax after a day out. Nevertheless, money wise value, can be found other options as well in Fatima. Overall was ok. Mixed feelings though lol

Room was not as expected and worn out a little. Mattresses hard but after all was not that bad. The entire hotel complex needs a little rejuvenation.
