Good location, excellent breakfast, incredibly friendly staff, unique and interesting rooms which are spotlessly clean, good bed, good shower.

Only minor issue is that the front door is very old (and beautiful!) but it expands in the heat and I could not get the door open to get into the hotel. I eventually pushed and pushed for some time and with some effort, and got into the hotel but it took me 40 minutes after my arrival to fix this and staff were not answering calls. So for people staying - if it is very hot and you can’t get in after door unlocks, try to push hard as you can or use two people. Should clarify I was not pushing the door the whole time, it took me some time to figure out what to do and trying to call staff but in total could not get in for 40 minutes after arrival which was confusing and very hot. Hopefully this message helps someone else not to have this problem and to keep pushing the door!

I loved the breakfast, the staff made me a perfectly cooked egg, fresh orange juice and a coffee, there was warm bread and lots of delicious foods. All one wants during breakfast, and included in the price! Overall the price was very good, we got an extra bed for our 3 year old, and did not have pay extra. The room was spacious and comfy.

I thought the floor was a tiny bit cold, maybe a carpet would have made the room more hotel-cozy. The art was a little intense for my taste, but mainly bacause my child was scared of the pictures..

Every thing was nice specially the kitchen staff” Semira and her daughter “ they were super helpful and friendly with high sense of hospitality. The whole building was nostalgic and beautiful with a warm lovely vibe. We liked how our room was designed by David Bade . The room and the bathroom were big enough.

We did not like that the room floor was empty. There was no carpet or something to cover the floor. We understood that the concrete floor was part of design but for travelers would more cozy and comfortable to step on carpet.

My new favourite for stays in Brussels. The DRUUM is a little haven from the hustle and bustle of the city. I was here on a work trip and was looking forward to returning to the spacious room to relax in the evenings. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room is designed in a thoughtful manner - the decor is minimalistic and every piece feels special. The breakfast is prepared fresh for the guests and the kitchen area is available 24/7 for coffees and teas. The staff are very kind and polite. The check-in was easy and the place is well connected by bus or by foot.

Formidable! It is the second time I stayed there while being for work in Brussels and it is just the best place for me. I love it. The rooms are just amazing, every little detail and care. The building and the whole atmosphere around it is so nice and different. You would like to live there. Samira who is taking care of the place and the breakfast is a beautiful person and filled me morning with joy and laughters. Can only highly recommend it and I for sure will be back again.

I needed a place for one night in short order due to a change in my flight due to a cancellation. This Bnb fit the bill best, despite being a bit over my usual budget. Self check-in was easy and painless. The room is spacious and the bed is comfy. The art in the room was quite fascinating and added a lot of personality to the stay. The breakfast was excellent and Clarice was quite pleasant and accommodating. The property is conveniently located near the canal and tram lines. I can recommend it for short stays in Brussels.

No real complaints.

Well situated 5 stops up on # 51 tram from MIDI station and about 6 minutes walk to St Catherines Sq. An oasis of calm run by the nicest of hosts. We enjoyed the huge Catalina Ortega room with double showers and soaking tub. Oh the bed was so comfortable! Breakfast with fresh pressed orange juice and eggs to order couldn’t have been better. We will never forget the kindness on arriving early exhausted and hungry being treated to coffee and snacks as well as early access our room. Wonderful stay.

It’s very artistic and unique. An impressive amount of effort went into decorating each room. It felt like lodging in a museum show room. The owners/staff are very kind and helpful, even with the language barrier they offered clear help and instructions.

The stairs to the rooms could use a revamp or maintenance work since they were creaky but that’s not a deal breaker. The rooms could have additional amenities like a trash bin.

Room was highly original. It is designed by an artist and you sleep next to works of art. Comfort is not forgotten though, the bed is very large and the mattress is super comfortable. The breakfast is simple but there is a bit of everything: fruits, ham, cheese, yoghurt, croissants. Also there is a nice employee who serves you freshly cooked eggs and hot drinks.

Not much to say.

We stayed in the Thomas I’Anson family room and found it to be perfect for a family of 4! The beds were so comfortable and the accommodation was very quiet. Guests were respectful & the breakfast staff were very helpful. The coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and pastries were a great start to exploring Brussels with only a 15 minute walk into the city centre. Tram access was only a short walk away.
