Great location close to the town center, but away from the noise. The sound of the stream rushing by was an added bonus and quite enjoyable. Andrea and the staff at the Balas incredible. We did a wine tasting paired with his meats, cheeses and lasagna was a real highlight. Argegno is less touristy, but much preferred place on the lake.. Great access to the ferries and the greenway for hiking to other small towns.

It wasn’t clear how to check in and we were passed from the bar/bistro to the restaurant while lugging our suitcases.

Perfect location, right in the centre. 1 minute walk to the restaurants, little supermarkets , the ferry terminal and bus stops. View of the river Telo running into Lake Como out of our window. The property was well laid out with everything you need for your stay. Would happily stay at this property again, would just bring our own pillows next time!

Bed and pillows were quite hard (I am the princess and the pea!). Only two towels and we had booked for three people to stay.

Location is superb. Short walk from the ferry. We had a room with a balcony that has a view at the Como lake and that was wonderful. One might easily have a romantic dinner there! The appartment is very stylish by design and has many amenities. Spacious bathroom. Welcome drinks in the fridge were very appreciated! Some Italian sockets are updated to fit laptops, which is important in Italy.

The bed felt a little bit uncomfortable (pillows too high for our necks), but that experience might differ by person.

Easily reachable location with plenty of (paid) parking available. A nice place to use as a base from which to discover Lake Como. The town of Argegno does not have many facilities, but there are some very nice restaurants.

Nice apartment in the center of Argegno, close to restaurants and the lake front. We have received a parking card for one day (3 Euro) which was great. It might be difficult to find parking space in high season. The apartment is spacious, very clean and quiet, as it is away from the busy street and town center.

Well-equipped and spacious apartment studio right in the town center of Argegno. Multiple good restaurants can be found in the surrounding streets. No private parking, but plenty of public parking space is available within walking distance. Argegno is an excellent starting point from which to explore Lake Como’s various points of interest!

Very good location, couldnt be better! big room with own kitchen, super clean, nice view from the window. We would defenitly come back there!

Mattrace was a bit hard for our taste, but we still slept good on them :) Also, it was a bit difficult to find somebody belonging to the apartment to ask questions to. The owner has a restaurant underneath the apartments, and people in a wine store opposite of the house also seem to belong to it....But it is a bit unclear

We stayed in the attic apartment, we were four people and a dog. Everything was fine, but we just kept banging our heads on the sloping ceiling :) The location is amazing, surrounded by many restaurants, the town has its own beach, a lift to go up the hill. The owner is very friendly. The town of Argegno has its own port, from where you can reach other villages or beautiful villas on Lake Como.

The double bed is very hard. Parking is in the city lot, a place hard to find, especially on a warm Easter weekend.

Fantastic location and owner, Nicolle was very friendly, helpful, wonderful chap! The restaurant is awesome.

Had an amazing view and great locations with local bars, restaurants and shops on your doorstep... direct access and view of the lakes. Staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Squeeky bed and decor needed updating (very green and 90's/ 00's, but so worth it for the location and price!
