Good 3-star. The tram stops right outside taking you anywhere you need to go. Staff friendly and polite. The only issue we had was noise from the swimming pool, which starts at 6 am. So, this is not a good hotel if you plan to sleep till late. It's perfect if you want to get up early and swim though.

There was some kind of security woman that was annoyed at us because we sat outside to watch the teams train on the pools in the evening. There is no indication that this is not allowed and the door from the hotel to the pool is also unlocked. They need to sort this out because their staff getting angry at guests is out of order. Competing in front of an audience also is part of athletes' training. Being angry at guest, or anybody else actually, is really not acceptable.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was spotless, well furnished and pretty comfortable. The breakfast was good, the only thing I personally missed was oat porridge in the morning :) The location was just perfect: close to the thermal baths, supermarket and even the beautiful city centre is only 25-30 minutes walk away. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area. Thank you, hotel Csaszar!

The hotel certainly won't fix this, and we 100% understand it, but for the sake of clarity - the stupid trams outside the window start to scare people as early as 6am :)

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We used the airport transfer which was very efficient and reasonably priced. Breakfast was nice and had a good selection. Towels changed as often as you liked and tea/coffee restocked. The pools were great and very welcome after a hot day. we didn’t use the indoor one and so I can’t comment on that. The location was good, close to Margaret island and around a half an hour walk to chain bridge. Tram stops were just a two minute walk from the hotel. Nice quiet location.

The breakfast room was up stairs and the stairs were a challenge for me as a Senior. But once up, it was beautiful. If you don't have problems with your knees, you will love this place. The staff are super friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is superb. It's an old nunnery, but renovated to accommodate the tourist. I love old buildings that is why we stayed here. The view from the breakfast overlooks the 50m pool. We did not swim, as seniors we were not use to the cold water. Mind you there were people swimming in 11 degrees temp. Amazing. We loved the place.

Having use of the heated outdoor pool is brilliant. The staff were friendly, good breakfast. Helpful with booking taxis for airport transfers. Room was nice and warm. Mini fridge and water provided. The staff helped when my mum had to change rooms because of a noisy neighbour in the room next door.

The bathroom was cleaned well, but they could do with some refreshing - shower was clearly quite old, some black mould built up at the edges. Unless you positioned the shower curtain exactly right, the water spilled on to the floor. Coffee at breakfast not very good. Very weak, although the machine makes espresso it's not espresso beans.

The staff is very kind!! The room was very nice it had everything we need! Good breakfast.

It's a little far from city center by walking distance, but you have the tram literally in front of the hotel!

Breakfast was wonderful. It's location was very convenient for public transport. The staff were very helpful, the best we have experienced in Budapest. There was a kettle in the room and bottled water. The outdoor swimming pool was great. Lovely and warm inside.

The rooms are small. No room for a chair. There were no English breakfast Tea bags just Earl Grey and various fruit teas. The tram noise is quite bad on the ground floor. No lift to the first floor where the breakfast is served. From adjacent rooms, you can hear every word if the tv is on.

Small but cosy room with high ceiling. Friendly staff ready to help you each time. Good breakfasts. Of cause this place is paradise for swimmers, we had great possibility to be on track with our training in 50 m swimming pool. This hotel has great placehold, it's close to Margaret's bridge and it's very simple to be walking to the many historical sighting. Of cause, there's good developed public transport, if you want you can get it. Once more I want to say thank you to all staff. And thank you, all Hungarian for support of Ukrainian. We will visit this cute hotel not once in our next trips. I hope they will be

The pool was amazing and the whole reason for the original booking. Appealing room rate with a solid breakfast. The four guys on the desk were all really lovely and very helpful; Andrew, David, Peter and Martin. Great job fellas! You added to the stay. Our room was tight, but very cool in the heat. The location was great. It's right outside a tram stop and next door to a 400-year-old bath house. The bed was very comfortable and the room has a fridge and air conditioner.

Given the room rate, the small bath room and tight space of the bedroom was tolerated. There was nothing that we didn't like as such The room was clean and good value for the money. A few lounges for guests around the pool, just in one area would be great. I'd be happy even to hire them if they existed.

Great location, right next to St. Lucas baths and close to public transport. Staff was very pleasant to talk to and helpful. The bed was comfy, we found both the toom and bathroom clean and the included breakfast was really good.

Bathroom is extremely small, and the shower is built in. a way that makes it impossible to not splash water all over the bathroom floor. The floor is supposed to be slanted in order for the water to drain, but it just was’t built that way so we needed to ask for housekeeping every day of our stay, to clean up the pool of water from the bathroom. The room was also slightly cold at night with no option of changing the temperature.
