An absolutely fantastic stay. Elena gave us clear directions on how to find the place (highly recommend following her guidance). The apartment is in a beautifully renovated building tucked away in a charming little alley just off the main street of Modica Bassa — the best of both worlds. It’s wonderfully quiet, yet only a few steps from the lively hustle and bustle. We stayed in the top-floor apartment, which has a lovely little terrace overlooking the rooftops and the picturesque backdrop of Modica Bassa. Everything was spotless and tastefully decorated — a perfect stay all round.

An old building, beautifully renovated on a lovely, quiet alley off the main street. Very bright, comfortable, tastefully decorated apartment. Great location for exploring the town, also very convenient for both train (at one end of the old town, 5-10min walk) and bus (the other end, 10-15 min walk), Ragusa 20 mins by train, Noto just over an hour, both lovely journeys. Useful tourist information across the main street for local activities, plenty of restaurants. Communication with host very straightforward, including much appreciated flexibility on check in/out times.

Location fantastic. Great range of restaurants. Private Balcony was absolutely a bonus. Great kitchen facilities if you want to self cater ...... we did a little. Good supply of necessitates. Loved the weekend vibe. Don't expect to leave using public transport on a Sunday. Good reason to spend the weekend!! The warm welcome note and gifts were lovely and most unexpected...thank you. ❤️ Communication was fantastic. The info was mostly helpful but the laundry service info was not correct. However found a fabulous laundry in the heart of Modica which was second to none.... that means brilliant!!!

Floor was not very clean...seemed there may have been a dog in the apartment at some point. The accumulated hair human and ??? other, under the bed was a bit surprising. Be aware .... you may have to go up several flights of stairs!! Moral of story.... pack 1/4 of what you think you need for your entire Italian trip!!!

Clear & concise communication with the owner and a perfect location. The accommodation exceeded expectations, was thoroughly clean and, despite the central location, surprisingly quiet. Highly recommended as a base for exploring both the town and, if you have a car, surrounding areas.

There was nothing to dislike. Parking on the street outside was free overnight and during siesta hours....free parking at other times within 10 minute walk.

Very central location and easy access to restaurants, bars and shops. Free parking area is about 5 minutes away so that was a bonus. The property is quite spacious, more than expected. Everything was clean and it was equipped with everything one may need. Helena was a great host!

The only downside to the property is that there is no lift access but the property is on the first floor and there isn’t too much stairs to get to it. Also, there is a few restaurants in the alley where the property is situated so it can get quite noisy with the loud sounds and the glass bins situated right next door, especially in the afternoon. However the noise stops at around midnight so we were still able to get a good night sleep. This is not something that is wrong with the property or the host but it is information useful to know.

We were there for New Year's Eve and the celebrations were being held in the piazza opposite our apartment, so obviously, we were expecting some noise. However, the noise was unbearable! We couldn't sleep all night. Windows need double glazing ASAP as everything can be heard - garbage truck, people walking and talking, sounds from neighbouring restaurants, street works etc. Also the walls are super thin, we could hear everything from our neighbours. Also, it is not ideal for 3 couples as 2 single foldable beds are allocated in the kitchen/ living area next to the balcony adjacent to the main road, therefore it is even more difficult to get some sleep.

Very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated apartment. Great location to explore the city. The train station is close by, only a 10-15 minute walk away. The apartment is in the centre so it can be noisy at night but I didn't hear anything, I slept like a rock the whole stay, but my friend couldn't sleep one night because of the noise, with earplugs the problem was solved.

Such a beautiful and stylish apartment. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay in Modica. It was very easy to communicate with an owner and she gave us every information we would need while staying in Modica. The apartment is very well equipped and having a washing g machine was a bonus! We had a lovely time in Modica.

Awesome location in the heart of the city. There's a lot of restaurants, cafeterias and pasticcerias around the place. Finding a parking spot on the main street was not a problem. The apartment is nice and very clean, with all you need to feel like home. Helena is great host - the communication with her was nice and easy. She gave us a useful information about the city and some nice recomodations for a good restaurants.

Really good communication and directions received from the owner. Perfect location with lots of restaurants and enotecas nearby. The street parking was easy. Lovely and charming building and apartment - loved the “roof top” terrace that came with the apartment we rented.
