Great place 'convenient wise,' as a home base to travel the area. Very good staff.. pleasant / congenial etc.. Breakfast ok .. Free complimentary drinks & small size pizza ( time limit for the latter )when feeding the machines

We have stayed at this motel on numerous occasions.. so.. the breakfast needs help .. boiled eggs are so rubbery should you throw them against the wall they will bounce back , hit you and it will probably hurt . This has been ongoing almost from the first time we stayed there ( numerous times over the last 20 years )Our next biggest issue is the coffee .. coloured water as far as we are concerned . Microwave in room would be nice . And finally ... maybe just maybe time to upgrade the carpets

There's so much to see and do in the town of Deadwood, that I was Happ I picked a hotel a bit out of town. The room was quiet, bed was comfortable, TV and water pressure in shower worked. Great location next to the trail and also on the trolley route. Breakfast was ok but there weren't many fresh fruit options - just apples. The cinnamon rolls are delicious.

There is no laundry for guests on site and no grocery store in Deadwood, so I did need to drive to the next town, Leads, to go to the store and use their Laundromat. Not a huge issue but glad I had the extra time to do this.

We were greeted by Shannon at the desk who was very helpful and kind. She'd assisted me in adding an extra night to our stay and there were no issues. Our room was clean and comfortable and so were our sheets and bath linens. Lots of pillows on the bed! We both slept very well.Never needed to adjust the room temp which is almost unheard of for a hotel room. Blackout curtains! Trolley available at a stop across the street to take you into Deadwood every hour for $2--be aware that they do NOT give change back. Pretty stream and walking trail just behind the hotel. The pool and hot tub were amazing! Restaurant and casino on site.

No microwave in the room. Maybe a box valance/cornice over the window to knock down the light in the morning.

I liked the fact that we were right next to a stream and had good views of the countryside from our room. Even though it is close to the highway our rom was very quiet.

My wife is handicapped and I found it inconvenient to have to up and down short flights of stairs to get to our hallway and room. If you don't have mobility problems that won't concern you. It was a littel farther away from the center of the action in Deadwood than I would hve hoped for.

Breakfast was pretty good. They did have cereal, rolls and waffles. We like the location on the edge of town where it's a little quite and not so busy. The casino also is pretty decent.

The ice machine could have worked so we didn't always have to go into the casino to get it. Also on our first night the casino lady didn't really care if you needed a drink or not. She was very lazy. The weekend shift lady was much better.

The pool n hot tub, the rooms, tho the hot tub could of been cleaned a little better

The dirty hot tub that's about it. I dint swim so can't say much there, the free breakfast could if been a little better but considering the price not bad. Also the way you park to get in n out that's kinda dumb

For a Super 8, I was impressed. You can tell it's had many people through it, but it's well loved. The staff were all friendly.

The kitchen was closed due to staffing issues. We had to leave and grab pizza elsewhere. The pool and hottube could use a decent deep cleaning.

Clean throughout the building. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff . The pizza was awesome.

Our room was freezing when we opened the door. Continental breakfast was not as appealing as previous visits. No protein except yogurt. We were expecting a chair in our room to sit on as the pictures showed. Just a desk chair was provided .

The beds were comfortable. The room was clean.

The pool was in an area that went into the casino and breakfast so it was very busy and not relaxing. There wasn't much room to sit for breakfast. it was crowded and hard to get around for people in our group because one person used a wheelchair and one person used a cane.

The breakfast was awesome! The pool was great! The staff was kind and helpful and the casino and food are great!

Everything was great. If I had to nitpick, your room may smell like the pool, but I personally wasn't bothered by it.
