If you need a cheap hotel for 1 - 2 nights in Bergamo, then the Hotel Post is very suitable for this. From the outside, the hotel looks a little strange, an ordinary detached building. There is no sign and no usual reception. But you will be met by a very friendly, nice hostess, Signora Margherita, she will help you with everything and tell you everything: how to get there, where to have a snack or dinner, what else to help. There is a supermarket nearby, open until 20.30. Direct bus from Bergamo Central Station (No. 8) The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel has a small courtyard where you can park your car. This hotel is ran by a sweet Italian woman, it is located right next to a supermarket and #8 bus line. You can take the bus to the downtown or you can walk, about 20 min walk. The hotel is in an older building and the bathrooms are from probably 1970's, mine was yellow/orange. The carpet was stained but the room was very clean and good size, wifi was strong with a big comfortable bed and two size tables and lamps which is my pet peeve. The shower does not have any shower curtain but the pressure was strong and water was hot. My room was made every single day and I was very happy with my choice. Free parking on the property. This is the best hotel deal in Bergamo, you will not find a better nightly rate.

The host was wonderful, we were late in the evening on arrival and she was so lovely. she even gave us little Easter treats as we left. It’s easy to get to and just like an apartment building. It’s was perfect for our one night stay! The balcony was a massive bonus. The only downside was that the shower drainage failed so we had a bit of a flood, but the owner was not phased by this! Super easy, close to airport stay. Would definitely return

Super affordable room (compared to others in the same area) situated right next to the airport, 5 minute via taxi. The owner is super responsive, when you get there you give her a call and she shows up to show you the room. She also helps you book a taxi from the hotel to the airport. The room was comfortable and clean, hot water, soap and towels provided. I'll definitely go again when I need to sleep near the airport.

it is kinda loud in the street, heavy traffic all night and also we could hear planes, so reccomending to take with you ear plugs.

I recommend this place wholeheartedly. The owner welcomed us very kindly. Easy access to the centre, close to shops. We got a parting gift but we couldn't take it because we didn't have room in our luggage and we are sorry for that. We hope that you were not sorry.

Lovely host! The room was very clean and big, we had a terrace and if we asked, we could get an extra chair and help. The price is good – and the quality of the room is adequate. There is a shop next to the hotel, bus stop, and bars – that's a very big advantage. We got a lot of towels, free samples of shampoo, and shower gel.

Lack of air conditioner and net – there are a lot of mosquitos – so you have to close the doors to the balcony or windows (and there was no opening with a net). The localization is not so great – you have to get there by bus (but it's less than 10 minutes to get to Stazione). But the problem is more on the side of the city. The last bus is 23.12 and starts from 5/6 AM.

I was very happy with the room for an overnight stay before flying from Milan Bergamo. Others may think it a bit basic but for the price and location, it is, in my opinion, very good. I would definitely go again and would recommend the Hotel Post.

The lady from reception was friendly, it was very nice that we received small gifts from her.

When we went for a walk in the city, we were informed that until 00:00 we had to be at the accommodation because the gates were closing, this aspect was a bit strange. I felt like I was in the college dorm. Probably, the laptop at the reception needs to be replaced, it works very badly and for this reason the check-in took a long time.
