Rose was great when we called to say we'd be later than normal check-in, advised closing times of local restaurants, and met us on arrival to introduce the room features. The outdoor area is really nice, and the whole place shows that a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into its development and operation. It's in the main part of town, so easy access to grocery and cafes, as well as the riverfront park just across the street from the offstreet parking provided next to the entrance and outdoor relaxation area.

I got the ground-floor room with the garden patio and enjoyed the view of the beautifully kept garden and the river beyond. Loved the character of the place overall and interesting decor - bed was so prettily made up it seemed a shame to get in it and disturb it. Great location, everything I needed in easy walking distance. Big private parking area. Friendly and welcoming staff (owner was away, I was greeted by her helper).

Overall was nice and clean in all the important places, but a few basic things had been missed, no biggie, just unexpected for being at the higher end of prices for accommodation in the area.

The hostess Rose was welcoming. The guest house was situated in a convenient central location, just a quick walk along the river path to the Museum and Aparima bridge. The bed was comfortable, and the room had good bathroom facilities. There was an attractive expansive outdoor seating space in a beautifully landscaped courtyard, ideal for eating in the sunshine.

The bedroom saw little sun.

Not our first stay - La Riviera is a very stylishly decorated apartment with a European feel- lovely outdoor courtyard surrounded by a herb / cottage garden - ideal for sitting in the sun with a wine. The ambience is undeniable, and the bed super cosy - lots of space as well. The host Rosie is very warm and welcoming. I certainly recommend this place over anything else in Riverton.

Splendid size rooms. Very comfortable beds. Bathroom beautifully presented. I was travelling with my son, we only had one night to spend in Riverton. I'm glad we chose here. Close to town There is a lovely peaceful garden. Rose was lovely and accommodating. No problems when we arrived later than expected. There was milk in the fridge, which was a great bonus

Room only, so no food comments. Location good for central Riverton. Plenty of space, interesting period decor and furnishings, good facilities overall.

No heating in rooms, since even in mid summer the weather was cool and damp and a bit of warmth would have been appreciated.

Very spacious and homely. Well presented. Garden / courtyard is the cherry on top. Very central location.

A little bit tired and dirty in some areas but not significantly, probably just a result of the maximalist decorating (i.e., too many things to clean all the time).

Lovely oldie worldy well maintained building, with high ceilings. Elegant decor and lovely elegant host. She was great and so welcoming. It is a perfect place to stay and as it is for sale I recommend anyone moving to Riverton should buy it! And the great cafe across the road. Then you'd have a B&B eh! Charles (Hannah's Dad)

Rose is amazing very friendly and so helpfull, the apartment has everything you need. Garden was beautiful, great set up private yet open Rose isnt to far away thats great. Walking distance to takeaways, pub and cafés. Was just amazing!
