We love that we can walk right out of our room and onto the beach. Beach is very pretty. The location of the resort is perfect. Many restaurants are walking distance. Sean who works at the resort took us on the catamaran and filled us in on a lot of great information about the area. Will definitely be returning.

was told nothing about a breakfast?????? the beach being rt there was the best. The best thing was Shannon who checked us in she was fantastic and her personality made up for any misgivings we had toward the hotel. She is a real asset to your hotel ...dont lose her she went out of her way to make us feel wanted and she is funny as hell.Everyone there we talked to loves her..

the pictures of the hotel are very misleading, the hotel per the pictures looked very up to date but in reality it is VERY dated. I travel all over the world and this was a little get away on the beach everything was sold out in the area and this was a break for my sister from NY she has never been to Florida a nd this was suppose to be a treat for her. The room was very small and at least the appliances were up to date .the saving grace was the beach being right at your door step. And the people there we very friendly. The wood frames around the doors need to be sanded and painted not just painted over..etc

Stove did not work...Staff gave us a hot plate to use.

Love the family feel of the location. The staff were friendly and had the feel of a mom and pop establishment versus a big company just after more money at every turn. I was also impressed with the kitchenette and all kitchenware supplied. Cabanas were free to use first come first serve. The water activities (kayaks, paddles boards, small catamaran) were also free. From one of their employees “fun should be free”! ❤️ The strip of beach was perfect for families and not at all busy!

We had to use the pull out sofa for one of our kids and to say the mattress had run its lifecycle is an understatement. It kind of sounded like a water bottle being crushed anytime you rolled over on it. The main bed was comfortable though. The second room we had the pull out mattress was fine on.

The view is amazing from any angle, the people at the front desk are amazing with customers. Everyone at the hotel are and actually they feel like a family 🤗. The two maintenance guys are super great people. Jaime the Spanish guy. Hi always is around taking care of what you need. Shon I can't remember how to spell his name. But this guy is amazing and gives you a lot of knowledge on how to fish and where to go. We are so excited and happy to be staying at the Grand shores. For sure we will be there again 😊.

In summary, my recent vacation at this beachside hotel was a mix of highs and lows. While the proximity to the beach and the friendliness of the staff were definite highlights, the overall quality of the hotel and its rooms left much to be desired. Location: ★★★★★ One of the standout features of this hotel was its unbeatable location. It was practically a stone's throw away from the beach, and I do mean that quite literally. A mere 45-second walk was all it took to have my toes in the sand and the ocean breeze in my hair. If you're a beach lover, this is a dream come true. Hotel Quality: ★★☆☆☆ Unfortunately, the quality of the hotel itself left much to be desired. The rooms were a bit on the lower end in terms of quality. They were clean, but the furnishings and amenities felt outdated and worn. If you're someone who values luxurious accommodations, you might find this hotel lacking in that department. Staff: ★★★★★ On the bright side, the hotel staff were absolute gems. From the front desk to the cleaning crew, everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Their hospitality added a significant silver lining to our stay. Recreational Activities: ★★★★★ One delightful surprise was the availability of kayaks and paddleboards for rent at no extra charge. This was a fantastic bonus that allowed us to explore the coastal waters and have some memorable adventures during our stay. The fact that these activities were included made up for some of the hotel's shortcomings.

not enough parking space at the Hotel. We had to park further away however they didn't charge extra.

Great place for a family vacation pool,jacuzzi main lobby and facility was clean they provide with beach towels to conserve the towels in the room. I really did not like that they don’t do daily cleaning in the rooms they offer cleaning after a week stay at the hotel, in my opinion is necessary since you are steps away from the sand on the beach so the rooms get full of sand. They do provide a broom and a dust pan so you can do it yourself.

The location was great. Direct access to the beach. Condo was a decent size. It was clean. Price was reasonable.

Parking was difficult. Very difficult to maneuver an SUV in the small parking lot behind the building. additional parking was across the main road some walking distance from the hotel. Not great for people with mobility issues. It’s an older building that supposedly was upgraded, but there are some issues such as rust in the bathtub, Old stove that has seen better days, chipped paint.

Location is great and the beach chairs were great. Rooms are being updated and the updates are more like band aids then a full on renovation. Quiet at night and beach was not very busy. Sand is sugar white. Saw seahorses and dolphins while wading in the bath tub like water of the gulf. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Tons of local restaurants within walking distance. Parking is sparse but was lucky and got a spot behind the town hall across the street.

Cleanliness of the building itself. Halls were a little dirty and could of used a vacuuming. Rooms were pretty clean as it is a beach destination so there is always sand no matter how much you clean. Sliding doors could of used a cleaning.
