Great service. The staff was really exceptional. I asked for a decoration of the room because my girlfriend had her Birthday. They decorated the room really great. My girlfriend was really touched. In general the room was clean and big enough for two people. Because of the location there was no traffic noise in the night. Additionally the hotel is located near to the city center and you also have a tram stop directly nearby. The breakfast was good and you can have fresh prepared omlet or srumbled eggs. In total we were very happy with our stay!

Breakfast is included in the price and it was wonderful. Eggs to order, hot from the kitchen. Hot cocoa and hot milk on request. Muesli with an assortment of toppings, including flax seeds; helpful for those of use who have a little difficulty with the heavy Balkan diet. Smoothies! And of course the usual cold cuts, cheese, breads, yogurt and fruit offerings. The front desk staff was incredible and provided great suggestions for outings, museums, etc. There's a cozy bar/café next door and the tram stop is a short block away. The city center is 3 tram stops away. The room was quiet and temperature control was straightforward. We had to leave for the airport before breakfast-time. They made coffee available early, and they sent us off with sandwiches, apples, and yogurt!

Great location. Calm and quiet hotel near the center. Tram station is just around the corner. Walking distance from the touristic center is pleasent, secure and convenient. Room was quiet, clean and equipped with everything you need while staying there. Everyday cleaning. Towels and linen changed every other day. Breakfast - tasty, with lots of variety. It's same every day but that wasn't an issue. Staff - friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very attentive and with smiling faces. Terrace - inner courtyard was super. Very calm and nice place. Overall great stay. Thank you

Decently managed b&b in the walking distance from anywhere in central Zagreb and in close proximity to public transport links to all the major places (incl. bus to the airport), it is indeed a good place to stay if you feel like being in town, but not in the epicentre of everything happening. Clean rooms, good beds, equipped bathroom, good WIFI, rather delicious breakfast (eggs made to order!) and overall caring and friendly personnel - what else could one be asking for.

If there was one thing I could change, it would be improving shower gel in the bathroom (perhaps having a separate shower gel and separate shampoo) :)

I get the other good reviews. Staff was super helpful. Very nice. Good value for money, renovated hotel, that had cool AC , amazing breakfast in a nice environment and nice rooms. I recommend the hotel for good price/value and staff really was very helpful about getting you to tourist sites. They gave me a paper map. I didn't use it, I use Google Maps.

Not the fault of hotel, but I arrived on local holiday and everything was closed. Nothing open for 1km of the hotel. The touristy stuff was open, though. Hotel is at the edge of old town, you have to walk a bit to get to places. But there is a tram from the bus station to the hotel. One of my ceiling spot lights was missing and there was hole in the ceiling where it was supposed to be. I guess it is an old building, but bathrooms etc. seem recently renovated and clean.

This bed & breakfast was such a beautiful place to stay. The rooms and facilities were clean, they also provided an amazing breakfast with alot of options to get your day started. Location was also fantastic with a tram stop a few meters up the road and only 3 stops to main square. Staff was also very lovely to deal with, showing you the sites and places to visit as you check in.

The room we had was a little small for 3 adults, but we made it work. Regardless of this, however, if we ever come back to Zagreb, we would definitely stay here again.

Most people will see 3 stars and be put off but this hotel is a gem. Kerbside appeal on Google maps may also put you off., but walk passed the delapidated plaster work and at the back of the alley is this lovely little hotel. As soon as we got there reception was so accommodating, lovely service, lots of information. Reception and dining area are spotless and well presented. The room again was spotless fridge, small hanging Are, luggage rack. Bed was OK, others in my party loved them. Breakfast was plentiful. Everything is only a 20 minutes walk away down a straight route. I highly recommend this hotel

The best hotel we've ever stayed in! Congratulations to the cleaning staff, the entire team, and for the wonderful breakfast we enjoyed every day. The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet, and the space stayed warm at all times. Also, the location was excellent, as it took only a 15-minute walk to reach the city center. Great value for the price. Well done, and keep up the amazing work! Definitely my first choice when I come back to Zagreb. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

We stayed at Casablanca around Christmas time, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The girl at the front desk was super helpful - she gave us a map and marked out the best festive spots to visit in the city during the holidays. Thanks to her, we got to explore the main Christmas markets and even had the chance to try some Croatian national dishes at the Zagreb Festival food court. We also enjoyed a concert by the famous Croatian singer Marko Tolya - now he’s going to be on top of our playlists for future trips! It was such a genuine and amazing experience. The room was comfy and had everything we needed for our one-night stay, but it would definitely be great for longer stays too. Oh, and yes, the breakfast! It was such a nice touch that in the morning, when we went down to dine, we were asked what type of eggs we’d like with our breakfast. Then, right next to the buffet, they made the eggs exactly how we wanted. Meanwhile, we enjoyed the other varieties of food offered by the hotel. Such a thoughtful and personal experience! We’ve already decided that if we visit Zagreb again, we’ll definitely book a room at Casablanca.

The showers in the bathroom felt a bit cramped. I get that it’s an older building, but just a couple more inches in width would’ve made a big difference. Washing my hair was tricky because the space was so tight - my arms could fully stretch from one side of the shower to the other. That said, it’s not a huge downside, just something to keep in mind for anyone who’s particular about their bathroom space and amenities.

Everything about Casablanca was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond with their extra service and helped us out immensely. The breakfast was even more than I expected. Wide range of food to cater for all tastes and dietary needs. The room was clean and fulfilled all requirements. The decor from the entry to the lounge area to the rooms to the dining area was tasteful and interesting. I was only an easy 15 - 20 minute stroll into the old town We loved it here. Wished we spent more time.
