Food was excellent and the sandwiches served during the afternoon of a funeral wa s superbe.

A waiter called Frank was very rude when asking who was eating in the restaurant as there were people away from the table. However some people wanted top order and he did not react very well at all. Needless to say he stayed away from us afterwards, It was unnecessary and as it was a funeral part did upset some of my family. I had a effect on the girls who were in mourning. Not myself as he addresses me personally and it was rude.

Perfect location. Spacious. Well maintained. Exceptionally clean. Wonderfully comfortable bed with crisp, clean bedlinen. Big fluffy towels. Amazing breakfasts - delicious, fresh, locally sourced food. Staff were friendly, polite and professional. Special mention to Ryan, aka Luke 😀

No lift, though we were aware of this in advance. Heating - we were unable to control the heating - we had to request this at reception! Unacceptably loud volume of the awful music in the bar and restaurant area. Staff did turn this down on one occasion at our request. We did note that we were the only people in the bar on our last night and that was not surprising. We actually took our drinks to our room it was so bad

Clean, uncluttered, well presented room and hotel. Lovely bathroom and great shower. Location for Largs town centre was outstanding (could have been clearer in web info). Good breakfast. Welcoming staff.

Duvet too thick /hot. Need a light option and bedding should be cotton. Could not see how to get text on TV - for poor hearing or if 1 wants to sleep. Guidance on how to adjust to hand held shower Glad to get on with breakfast, but used crockery could have been removed and a check if all ok. Both muffin and sourdough difficult to cut / too thick for what was on them.

We loved the location of this hotel. Very central without being crammed into the middle of town. A short walk to some fantastic restaurants and the sea views are stunning. The rooms are a nice size, the bed is very comfortable and the shower is nice and powerful. We had a very relaxing stay and a great nights sleep. The breakfast was very tasty and lots of options to choose from. The staff are lovely and were always helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking to spend time in Largs or the surrounding area.

The one and only down side was there was no air con and the weather was hot. But leaving the window open and closing the curtain did enough to help that eventually.

Lovely hotel, nicely decorated. Room well appointed. Fantastic breakfast. Nice Bar area for evening drinks. Location very handy for local restaurants Staff very friendly and helpful.

We were surprised there was no option to dine at the hotel for evening meals but not really a problem given restaurants locally. Sound proofing between rooms could be better. The couple next door had their friends in their room for drinks. We managed to get to sleep ok but were woken up at 0230hrs as the noise escalated and various doors were slammed. Not really the hotels fault, but as I say we could hear conversations even at normal level.

The breakfasts were excellent with a few choices.

The breakfast service was rather slow on the first morning although there weren’t that many people in the dining room. When I asked if some toast was coming, I was told that you had to order it (really) not in any hotel in which I have previously stayed. However, after a quiet word with another staff member, I was told that, yes, it should have been offered. Everything from thereon was fine. There is also no lift in the hotel, and as we are elderly with some mobility issues, it wasn’t ideal. I don’t think the hotel would be suitable for anyone who was disabled.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, I always pay for a deluxe room or I've used the suite before and worth every penny. For example it was only an extra 40 roughly for deluxe sea facing. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the attention to detail from walking in, the chandeliers, everything is so very breath taking. We had bath robes and coffee machine etc. My children commented mostly on this hotel as their favourite, we travel alot and payed up to 700 for a room before, this is their favourite because its basically on the beach, just across the road. It was nice to go down all day and at night ams roast marshmallow The staff have been always very helpful and late check out to 1 pm is available for 20 which is fantastic and so helpful ( if available) The breakfast was delicious and again the decor, how the tables were so elegantly set up. Was lots to chose from and a hot food menu. It was included in our price. My son ate for free as he is 4. There's a chill out area at dining part too woth a beautiful fire, I sat and drank my coffee after a super health bath all fresh and felt truly amazing. So much so I tired to book another night, but they were booked. I'll always return to brisbane, as not only is it beautiful, bespoke in many ways, there's so much to do at largs. There's always a nice atmosphere at the promenade, rides on and of course can jump the boat to Millport, as well as having the beach, also if driving can drive futher along the coart to explore more beaches. For what I payed and all that to do, was like a mini holiday, the kids loved it and we drive back, stopped at Scots restaurant facing the yachts and only 7 mins from hotel. The kids tell their nursery and ny daughter tells her friend's how good brisbane hotel is. Nothing to complain about, no down sides.

That I had to leave and I cant just buy a room to keepi like my son asked.

Fabulous location with stunning views. The sun was shining for us, and the hotel setting made us feel like we were in the Mediterranean. The room was great with a fabulous shower. We had lovely cocktails from the bar, and the breakfast was beautiful and very tasty. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They couldn't do enough for you.

Our only challenge was that our bedroom was too hot. We did open the windows as much as we could. We also asked for a fan, which was dutifully provided. This did help to bring the temperature down a little but still a little warm for us.

The hotel is in the perfect place when visiting Largs. It’s a five-ten minute walk from pubs, restaurants and local shops. It’s directly across from the beautiful pebble beach and if you want a good walk, you can head just out of town and along the coast, We were there for 3 nights and that was just about the right. The food is amazing! We had a slight ‘mishap’ at breakfast time on our second day when I asked for less food than the day before and ended up with more, although we experienced this every where we went in Largs, they love to feed you!! We recommend Nardinis ice cream parlour for a sundae, Allegrias Italian restaurant (the portions are HUGE!) and The Fish Works takeaway does amazing Langoustine scampi!

There is no air-con in the rooms and as it was fabulous weather, it got very hot! I wish I’d taken my all singing, all dancing fan but I’ll know for next visit.

The location excellent staff very friendly. The decor was beautiful.

The fact of no evening meal. When we came in at night the bar was closed. No atmosphere most people like to sit at a bar and chat. Really let themselves down in these areas. Nothing at all at night. Would not go back as it was a case of going up to your room after you were out having your meal. I think they should have these facilities available as part of your stay. Especially when it is off season and the weather was not good. The breakfast was very nice. Disappointed about the evening experience ☹️☹️
