It is a great place to stay. Breakfast is yummy, room is so clean and comfy, airport is so close, the shuttle is so nice, and Bandana's restaurant is right next door for awesome food. The price was amazing for a Monday, Tuesday.

We liked everything.

Good breakfast. Lots of fruit flies. Tables needed wiping off. Entry floor very dirty with black drips from front to hall. Room very tidy and comfy bed. Very quiet with friendly and helpful desk staff. Not super happy with shuttle service on pick up from car rental place late at night. It drove way past the entrance making me run past homeless man to reach van. I was afraid they’d drive off before I could reach the van.

Cleaner entry and carpets. No fruit flies in dining area. A cloud of them flew up at me when I opened the bread cabinet. The door locked were weird. The deadbolt didn’t seem too secure but worked fine.

The workers are very welcoming and friendly. We had such a good experience in the 5:30 kickback with one of the workers - Ron. He was very kind, friendly and so funny. He brought so many laughs when we were here. Our room was very clean and nice. The aircon was really good too and the bed was comfortable. We also dropped off a rent a car and the hotel was so kind to have the shuttle pick us up from the rent a car - I appreciate the hospitality of everyone at Pear Tree Inn.

Overall everything was excellent except we had an issue with our sink’s drainage system. Maybe it was clogged up but it took a long time for the water to drain out from the sink. Other than that, our stay here was great!

We booked very last minute for a Spring Break getaway. I was worried about the location so close to the airport but it was very quiet and clean. The staff is amazingly kind and friendly and we loved the shuttle to the airport to hop on the train downtown. One small thing is we picked a place that had breakfast included, but we didn’t realize the breakfast was the exact same every day. Other hotels have just the smallest variety. But overall it was a great value with genuinely helpful staff (for instance, someone opened up the milk for the breakfast bar at 9:30 pm for my son because he was so tired of soda - that was above and beyond for a kid) and we were pleasantly surprised.

The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in the 55+ yrs I've been here The nite staff young man very rudd + which is y I cut my stay short otherwise I will most definitely return thank

The nite staff young man when I asked would I need to worrie about getting tickets since I was on the hotels gated lot 4 I was in a handy cap parking spot and I didn't have a sign 4 my mirror yet but I did have my paperwork and he looked at me if I was some able body youngman as he was im suffering from a injury to my spine the blind could see I was in pain. But yeah otherwise I truly enjoyed.my stay

We typically stay at the Marriott Renaissance for overnight stays before flying out. But in recent years we feel the hotel has become run-down, dirty, showing signs of age with uncomfortable beds, worn out bathroom tiles & plumbing, alll while the prices keep going up & up. The Renaissance was charging $156 before tax and parking fees on Booking.com vs Pear Tree Inn for $95 per night. On a whim we opted to try the Pear Tree and we are GLAD we did !! The front desk staff were super helpful and polite. The resort was packed with travelers due to an impending snow storm. The lobby was chaos but the front desk staff were the best I've ever seen at any resort ! The beds & pillows were very comfy. Rooms were quiet even though the hotel was packed. Locations to St Louis Lambert airport was perfect. Shuttle bus drivers were prompt, courteous, safe and efficient. I'll never go back to the Renaissance again. Pear Tree all the way !

Staff was amazing going above and beyond expectations. I dropped off my car @ Avis (0.3 mi) down the road and instead of going back to the airport and taking the airport shuttle to the hotel or taking an Uber to the hotel, the shuttle came to get me @ Avis on the way. Staff is excellent. Value is unbeatable.

External fascade of building is not up to date, but doesn't matter given the extreme value you're getting with phenomenal staff. I took airport shuttle @ 5:40am and they were on time.

Landon at the front desk was OUTSTANDING! What a great young man, professional, helpful, caring.... He even came to our room to help us figure out the TV!!! Then when we went to the lobby "happy hour" Ron was a 5-star host who personally served every guest at their table! We were highly impressed by his professional and genuinely caring service. Both of these men deserve praise for being great employees in a time when just finding employees is hard. Also liked the gated parking lot.

Everything in the room was clean and well stocked. Would've been nice to get a mini lotion, but I guess if you take advantage of happy hour you can go without. I didn't have time for the drinks, but I got the breakfast. Good options. Love that there is free, no hassle parking at the hotel. It's across the street from the airport, and yet I didn't hear the planes. The shuttle service is convenient; I didn't have to wait long.

This isn't the hotel's fault but the clientele are so narrow-minded, they must think everyone likes the smell of pot. The hotel makes it a point to state there's no smoking, but I guess since Missouri is so obnoxiously weed-friendly, like it or not, everyone has to deal with the smell of rank trash now.

The early breakfast I did not use as I left the hotel at 4 AM for the airport. Shuttle service and driver were excellent. The room was a wonderful space and comfortable

The happy hour had no drinks available other the alcoholic drinks. The drink station was broken and could not be repaired. As I am unable to drink alcohol I just left. The variety of snacks was so limited that there was really nothing of interest to eat without a beverage.
