The room was immaculately clean and the Rioshouse is conveniently located on the high street. We were surprised to find the room was serviced daily - Julia was lovely and keeps the rooms sparkling. We liked the very generous shower size and recent good quality fit out with comfortable bed. We were twin room 106, the size is adequate but not generous for a longer stay, (it is larger than the double room originally booked though) They were very flexible and stored our cases after checkout.

The kitchen had lots of cupboards but absolutely nothing inside them - we stayed 4 nights so a toaster, plates/bowls and cutlery would be appreciated to eat breakfast (plus microwave). The walls between rooms are thinner than ideal.

We had a fantastic stay! The property was centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the river and the town centre and on the bus route to Reading. We were a little concerned that the location might be noisy. but we needn't have worried. Once the door was closed, all was quiet. The room itself was bright and exceptionally clean There was a small, well equipped kitchen area with oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle + ample pots, pans and crockery etc. The shower was large enough for two, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We will definitely be returning for our next visit to the town.

The location is fabulous, the room is clean and fairly well equipped although space is very tight and accessing the property felt a bit convoluted. There is no reception so I have not rated staff but mostly this met our needs as we just needed to spend the night. I think if we had needed to spend more time, the tight space would have been more of a challenge.

Parking in Henley was not very straightforward but not impossible. This felt a bit expensive for what it was although this might be due to it being a very busy weekend in the area.

Hotel was in a good location & my room was very clean (even had an interim clean on a 2 night stay). Bed was comfortable. I'd stay again.

I was at the back so no road noise but music & noise from the beer garden until midnight. Room was quite cramped and I heard alarm clocks go off in other rooms (there was a running event in town so probably all guests were taking part!). But it's an old building with rooms around an L shape so I guess this is expected. Parking suggestions were spot on.

The location is ideal. It was quiet and well designed to make the most of a small space. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was appreciated ( in the heat) because the windows do not open. The Hart Restaurant next door was perfect after a long day of work. Getting in was easy, and the daily maid service was unexpected but lovely.

It would be nice to have a cafetière to make a real coffee in the morning.

Clean, comfortable flat in the center of town. I thought it was a good value given the location and the cost of similar lodgings nearby. We had a room on the street side, but it was quiet by 2300.

No place to park (which was clearly stated when booking) and it was a little difficult to find someplace to do so. I recommend the Mill Meadows Car Park, a ten minute walk away. No cost from 1900-0900.

The entry system especially as it was pouring with rain and lack of light at the door. Once in the screen at the bedroom door did not give you enough time to enter code before it went blank Being elderly we really needed the hand rail to be accessible We realise that you want to decorate for Christmas but the safety of your guests should be taken into consideration.

Great location right in city centre, very clean and quiet, easy contactless check in. Very small but very well thought out, may have space issues for a couple with those suit cases big enough to carry a body in. Great value for the money, had little things like instant coffee, large coffee cups and 2 wine glasses, would for sure stay there again.

No plug socket next to the bed for the phone. Charged the other side of the room but then didn’t know what the time was. The view, however I know this is reflected in the price we paid for the room and I would rather pay less.

RioHouse Henley is so perfectly located, so accessible, so wonderfully quiet, and so exceptionally tidy and clean, with contemporary furnishings and comfortable, well-thought-out spaces that help make the most of each room’s modest footprint. Beds are both super-comfortable and roomy, with extra pillows and clean, freshly-laundered linens and bath towels in place and ready to go. There is an electric kettle and a coffee-maker with coffee pods and teabags at the ready. Ceramic coffee and/or tea mugs are of nice quality and a comfortable size. A soft-soap dispenser is in the shower and another just above the sink. I would stay again at RioHouse Henley Hotel in a heartbeat and my friend who travelled with me feels exactly the same. As a rower (single sculler on our competitive sculling team), RioHouse Henley’s location, could not be more ideal — just one block from the river and a ten-minute walk from the incredibly comprehensive Rowing Museum. And (last but certainly not least), literally right next door to RioHouse Henley’s front door is the phenomenal Giggling Squid restaurant, with its exceptional menu, terrific staff, and a comfortable, welcoming, and elegantly easy-going ambience. Lots to see and do in lovely Henley-on-Thames and we so enjoyed our stay at the RioHouse Henley Hotel. Highly recommended!
