Excellent staff, wonderful breakfasts and great location. Very comfortable bed. Large shower. We really enjoyed our visit.

Our visit would have been even better if there was more water pressure through the shower head. Took quite a long time to wash my hair and my daughter-in-law made the same comment. Different shower head needed? Really need better lighting - it's rather dark - especially when trying to get ready to go to a wedding. We stayed in the Clock Tower Suite - great room, but the carpet definitely needs replacing. It looks dirty and rather dingy. A lighter colour next time? Please rest assured we really enjoyed our stay but these little changes would make a big difference. PS I never write reviews but thought this might help you for future guests.

Excellently stylish and comfortable facilities; well equipped and spacious too. Shame we were only staying the one night.

Hot water takes a very long time to run through. Reception staff weren’t the friendliest people on earth but given all we needed was the keycard and directions, it was fine. Would be nice to be greeted with a smile though.

Really nicely decorated, clean and modern. Very clean with nice touches such as a Roberts digital radio., nice products in the bathroom, good tea/coffee options. Rooms were spacious. Restaurant was buzzy and had nice food. View of the river was lovely. Staff when required were helpful and pleasant.

More noise than anticipated from the road next to the hotel. The flat roof outside our window was a bit of an eyesore, feel like they’ve missed a trick and could’ve either put a green living roof on it or turned it into a huge balcony. Mattress on my bed was super soft, which is a personal preference .

Room was well thought out, i stayed in their "Cosy" rom which was the smallest but despite having to shimmy along the bed it never felt cramped. Bathroom was stunning, amazing shower as well. Bed was comfortable, room was well equipped as well. Restuarant was decent, nice atmosphere, food was good. The hotel also backs on to the river so good for a post dinner walk.

pillows were a little flimsy, i might just have a concrete head but i ended up stacking them all up on top of each other just for some support. Large and very effective fan is included for keeping cool but far too noisy to sleep with it on and the rooms do get warm as the windows only open a small amount.

This is a great hotel on the River Thames. I reserved the larger "River View" and was rewarded with a huge bedroom and bathroom. Great view over the river as was indicated by the room description. We had a good breakfast but didn't get to try out the bar which also looked very pleasant. Carparking was also fine. Very friendly and helpful staff!.

Only slight issue was the lack of cooling, It was a hot day (27°C) and it seemed there isn't much insulation in the roof as the room was very hot with no AC. We unfortunately left the bathroom light on for a few hours without realising that this activated a mirror heater.. which didn't help. Anyway, I am sure 27°C is unusual, so not a big issue.

The location by the river was lovely as was the decor of the property. we had lunch in the restaurant which had a good atmosphere with live music at 2pm and the food was ok. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Overall enjoyed our time at the hotel.

The room was hot and despite placing two fans in the room, we had to turn one off for sleeping, as was very loud. There was no hot water to our room and when reported I was told the hot water systems had been checked already and was working, but no one came to our room to check, so I had a cold shower. The food in the restaurant was perhaps a little expensive for what you get.

Spacious room

It was not clear how to order the inclusive breakfast as it wan't an option on Booking.com . We booked a table via the Copa club website ahead of arrival as we were told if we didn't we might not get one. We were miss informed at check in that we could ask for the inclusive breakfast on the day having said we had booked a table. On arrival at breakfast we found out we could only have the al a carte as we hadn't got a voucher. We had not been offered one at check in. Better communication between the hotel check in and the Copa Club is needed.

Beautiful location by the Thames. Very handy for the Mill Theatre in Sonning. Very comfortable bed, brilliant fridge with milk and water, nice retro features like radio, kettle, storage jars, novels by the bed. Good shower, nice and hot, good supply of towels. Excellent signage.. Reception staff very pleasant and ordered a taxi for me very efficiently.

Room 6 was on the main road and I was disturbed by traffic noise in the mornings. Bar staff in Cuppa were quite curt but the bar (evening) and restaurant (breakfast) were quite busy.

We had a beautiful room with a river view and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Coffee and tea making facilities plus fridge in room. A Nespresso machine would be a welcome addition.

Hotel rooms were excellent. Maybe we were there at a bad time (between Xmas and new year). The bar/restaurant area was obviously very understaffed or badly managed. On the afternoon we left half the bar area was full of uncleared, dirty tables. I counted about 8/9 just around where we were sitting. We were there for over an hour and not a single table was cleared, despite staff walking past them numerous times. Such a shame as it ruins the ambience of an otherwise lovely space with pretty good food.

This is a great hotel in a beautiful location with excellent facilities - we’ve stayed here before and we will come here again.

The room was lovely and huge with a great view but incredibly hot & stuffy despite having the windows open and the supplied floor fan working full blast! It was odd because even at midnight when it was 16 degrees C outside it was still nearly 25 degrees in the room!? I guess it only happens occasionally here in the UK and the weather will be cold again only too soon! ;-)
