Room was comfortable and clean however very hot even though a fan was provided Beds were comfortable and clean Bathroom was functional and a bath mat was available on request which we got. Tea and coffee facilities in room Breakfast was included in our rate which was excellent and cooked to order. Ate in the pub on Friday night, food was great and service was excellent Staff were very friendly and helpful Definitely will stay again as excellent value for money

Just a personal thing but bath mats should be provided as standard as bath was slippery Other than that , an excellent stay

I like the staff, location,how quick food is served after ordering the prices isn't bad and there are lots of specials as well love how there are bus stops right at the from , there's a back and front sitting area perfect for summer, rooms are spacious its cleans and the vibe is chill.

only thing i didn't like which probably isnt the staffs fault is the special needs bathroom door is always left open as u walk by, my daughter ordered the waffle benedict and didn't like that the eggs wasnt scrambled and there wasnt any syrup for the waffles she would've preferred it this way i think all kids might.

Nice, clean comfortable room. Larger TV than one would usually expect in a hotel room and it had a sofa bed too, which we didn’t need or use as a bed but meant we had a very comfortable sofa to sit on rather than the usual occasional chair, desk chair or bed (all present as well of course). Mattress was a little soft for my own personal taste but everything else in the room very good. There is also a petrol garage next door, no undue noise but it meant that any forgotten items or extras could be easily purchased from the Coop attached to it.

Room was a little warm but there was a fan portable fan in the room.

Room was very spacious and very clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a good choice of food for breakfast.

The water from the taps is dangerously hot, and gets to this point extremely quickly. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery, our children kept slipping over, the baby even fell and hit her head. The rooms are a bit scruffy. The shower was very strange, it was very powerful which is good but the shower head made the water painful! The radiators also make some very strange noises.

Food was good and at a fair price. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were very polite and helpful

Shower in the bath is not really good enough these days especially for those of latter years. Was not informed of the need to give credit card details prior to having food in the restaurant. Would have liked the chance to book a room on the ground floor at time of booking, as the hotel has no lift and we are getting on in years.

Booked a low cost room not expecting to be in it much but it was in the perfect location. Turns out the stay was terrific in every way. Staff couldn’t have done more to be helpful and friendly, room was huge, clean, quiet, warm, comfy and enormous bed, and well equipped with everything I needed. Breakfast was good, couldn’t fault anything. And free wi-fi! I mean, what’s not to like? Shall definitely return. Incredible value

Decor a little dated but very clean and well maintained and it felt like a well loved property

The room was a good size and was quiet. The included breakfast was very nice and there was a good choice of meals in the restaurant which wasn't overpriced.

Bathroom was a little tired with a loose bath handle and the toilet didn't always flush properly and took ages to refill. Tea and coffee making facilities were alright but not enough sachets and no decaf, although I could probably have got some from reception. There weren't any mushrooms with the breakfast on the second morning which was disappointing.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was comfortable had breast each morning and the quality of food was excellent. We also had evening meals for guests who joined us each evening. The food presentation was lovely, very quick service and meals were delicious

Restaurant area would be improved if carpets were swept each day. We noticed remnants of previous days meals still on the carpets under the tables

Rooms were comfortable at a reasonable temperature. Nice clean sheets and bathroom facilities good. Breakfast choices were excellent with a good range of options available.

Rooms were in need of redecoration and some of the furniture could with replacing as chairs wer ripped and thredbare and bedside unit had a piece of the veneer broken off. Also the bath needed resealing as a little mould could be seen. Otherwise , overall the rooms were nice.

Excellent value for money, food very good and great value for money. Room was also very good value for money. The only criticism was that it was a little shabby, room needed a new carpet and several things were in need of some repair but this did not affect our stay.

Could have done with more tea/coffee and milk sachets, however when requested were given some more with no problem. Reception staff were friendly but could have been more smartly dressed!
