This is an exceptional location. There is a large garden area to roam around in. Also, a beautiful main house with delicious food options. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are neat and tidy with a good balance between a modern feel and sustainability. Great location as well, next to the Thames and close to Marlow and Henley (two beautiful little towns next to the river). Also great place to just hop on your bike or go for a run, away from busy town centres.

It’s our second visit to Greenlands, excellent value for money, great location, situated 2miles outside Henley with lovely food Will definitely be going back for our 3rd visit

Breakfast and brasserie food very good. Staff excellent. Last minute request to swap double room to twin was granted, helping us out a lot. Stunning location and grounds.

The bedroom (Lodden, ground floor) was unfortunately stiflingly hot throughout. Even with windows open on the second night (cooler outside) it was impossible to reduce the stuffiness. The two fans in the room were a welcome touch but still only moved the hot air around. I know there had been a heatwave so it’s probably a rare problem (and not really the hotel’s fault) and the water chiller on the foyer was also a welcome touch. Aircon would have been a godsend!

The check-in was absolutely rapid and reception were very helpful. I had to quickly drop off my bags before midday because I needed to run to another event nearby, and they allowed us to store our luggage in a keycard protected luggage room which was super convenient. And then when we arrived back after midnight, we were able to collect the bag by ourselves before heading to the room. The breakfast was solid, a good range of food and great service. In general the grounds of the property are absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay at Greenlands. A lovely room: so comfortable and in beautiful surroundings! On reception, John gave us some interesting information about the history of Greenlands. ALL the staff were great: so obliging and helpful. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast buffet wasn’t quite up to standard. There was lots of variety but the hot breakfast, pre-cooked, was rather cold and some of the food didn’t benefit from being left out, uncovered. Don’t want to end on a negative note though. We loved our stay and will be back!

Beautiful grounds on the river Thames. Very tranquil. The staff were very polite and helpful and the rooms were very clean and had everything you need including lovely toiletries. Breakfast was also excellent. Excellent value for money. A short ride into Henley or Marlow so location very good.

Nothing really. A little noisy from nearby rooms in the night but you could get that in any hotel. It might be noisy it there was a wedding there but luckily not for our stay.

The location was a short drive to Henley town centre. The well kept grounds were fantastic and we enjoyed exploring the site, especially a walk beside the river. The room was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, both hot and cold. The staff were friendly and helpful. During our two night stay we had one evening meal in the brasserie where we shared a tasty pizza along with a generous portion of chips, both at a reasonable price. The gym was very well equipped but we didn’t use it as we had a busy weekend with lots of walking ahead of us.

Menus in both brasserie and main restaurant could have offered a few more basic options. The online main dining room menu didn’t show any prices. Everything else was great.

Always a friendly and efficient welcome on arrival. The room is always spotless, has plenty of tea, coffee and towels and because the weather was so warm this year, they had made provisions to try and keep the room mas cool as possibly by closing the curtains and putting fans in the room. Breakfast is fresh and replenished frequently and the team are really friendly.

Prices are getting a little expensive, but I guess you pay for what you get.

A quiet, comfortable room, with 2 cooling fans, nice linens and Milton Brown products. Breakfast was good - with a bright dining room and a good buffet style choice. The room was situated a little way from reception, which was fine, however there was only 1 bath and hand towel provided despite booking a double room for 2 people. And an almost empty box of tissues was left too - but it was late when we arrived and it was too much trouble to return to reception
