This is one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed in. The room was so comfortable and spacious (I was in 701 and it was much larger than the pictures suggest), with a nice balcony and incredible view. The rooftop pool was heaven in the hot daytime. The staff all speak wonderful English and were so kind and welcoming. Included breakfast did the job. The location is great, a short walk to the beer streets, and there’s even some nice cafes on the little alley of the hotel.

I like many aspects of the Jade Scene Hotel. The first one is its staff. They are all very helpful, from the guys in the entrance, to those in the restaurant, and especially the receptionist. I had some issues with the receipt which I needed for my trip, they were very supportive in helping me solve the issues. The staff of Jade Scene Hotel is 10 out of 10! The second strength is the location. From here, you can have a 3-minute walk to reach the famous walking street with many restaurants, pubs, and bars. The night life in this area is amazing! From here, you can also easily get to other famous places in Hue like the Forbidden City, Third, the breakfast of the hotel is also acceptable. They have a small corner for food, but you can also order some more from the menu. I like the beef noddle (Bun Bo Hue) here. I did not really have a time to try the swimming pool, however, the pool looks nice and you can try when you stay here. Overall, my stay in Jade Scene Hotel exceeded my expectation!

The area is under heavy construction, so you might hear some noise in the morning. I visited Hue when there was a storm coming, the rain made the road leading to the hotel a bit messy.

The arrival welcome was sweet and efficient. The room was ready early, was comfortable and clean. The shower was hot and powerful. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was full of fresh fruit. Unfortunately the weather did not suit hanging out on the rooftop and the pool was too cold (due to the rains) and the area was feeling neglected. The view isn't great, of corrugated roofs and barking dogs. Otherwise the hotel location was good, on a side street with cafes and massage shops, within walking distance to the tourist friendly restaurants but also very close to the local markets and local life. Be aware Hue is large, it's a long walk to the Ancient city, or a cheap taxi journey. Hue was an enjoyable stop, I felt we saw a genuine part of Vietnam.

An excellent location a couple of blocks from the restaurant / bar centre in Hue. Located in an alley with mini marts and laundries, and an excellent cafe on the corner, it is very conveniently located. The room was excellent. All the staff, especially the reception girls, were very attentive and genuinely friendly. Breakfast is good with some surprising sweet and savoury offerings.

Luckily, I was on Level 3 as the solitary lift is slow, so I mostly used the stairs. The 3% credit charge is totally unnecessary in this day and age and leaves a sour taste when you checkout.

Amazing and attentive staff, located on a quiet alley in a busy part of town which made it a very nice escape. The place is built well in comparison to most hotels we've stayed in Asia - solid core doors, well sealed glazing, very efficient HVAC, etc. Had nearly zero external noise. Even though it's located in the main tourist district, it felt very calm and disconnected from the bustle. We spent most of our time in other parts of the city and surrounding area, but loved returning to our place every night. Would love to stay here again.

What a cute little place tucked down a side alley, right in the centre of Hue, 2 minute walk to walking street . The staff here were amazing. We arrived early from an overnight train and they had us checked in to our rooms from 10am after a delicious breakfast in the cafe opposite (Nook). We got a really informative overview of the city and things to see eat and do, and felt so welcomed the minute we arrived. They helped us organise the best activity of our entire month long journey in Vietnam - motorbike tour with easy rider from Hue to Hoi An via the Hai Van pass and Marble Mountain for a really great price (cheaper than online!) and organised everything including getting our excess bags to Hoi An. Breakfast was just right, with a great selection of local foods and fruits. The pool was a bonus especially in the Hue heat, although a few more loungers would have been a awesome. Highly recommend this place for your next visit to Hue!

Great little hotel in central Hue. It's situated in a side street very close to walking street and lots of bars and restaurants. There is a small rooftop pool and bar which are very pleasant. All the staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful, especially the girls on reception and of course Peter (the driver) who drove us to Da Nang and showed us the sights on route. We originally booked 3 nights but stayed for 6 we liked it that much. We would recommend a stay in Hue and this wonderful hotel.

We felt the breakfast was adequate but the choice of eggs was good.

Breakfast was very substantial and good quality. There was everything I could have wanted . The room and space was adequate. The room had a small balcony which allowed for the door to be opened for fresh air. The location was perfect with close walking proximity to all bars and restaurants. Fun bar just up the road and great little eating cafes next door.

We paid for a what was presented as a tour to the significant sites in Hue but felt that it was transport only and not worth the amount we paid. The hotel were happy to discount our bill so we were not disappointed with our overall experience. I would suggest other customers seek their own tours independent of the hotel.

We absolutely loved this little hotel and couldn’t speak any higher of it. When we arrived, the hotel staff sat us down and gave us some great tips for seeing Hue and made sure we were comfy in every way. Our room was super clean and a perfect size for us and we loved sitting on our balcony in the morning and afternoons and watching the world below. The rooftop was also excellent and we took a much needed dip in the pool and got some good sunbaking in. Would also highly recommend getting a massage at the hotel! Excellent in every way, we would definitely return. Also great food just around the corner!

The rooftop pool was an absolute highlight! The perfect place to watch the sunset. Location couldn't be beat - very quiet but a few minutes' walk from some fun buzzy streets. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. But more than anything, the staff was incredible - very kind and helpful and quick to sort out anything we needed. They gave us advice and arranged some activities for us which really made our time in Hue extra special. After our stay, their driver Quang took us to Da Nang via the scenic road. He was wonderful - warm, funny, knowledgeable, and a genuinely lovely person. And he knew exactly where to take the best photos! If you're going on to Da Nang from Hue, ask for Quang to take you - you won't regret it!
