We liked how big the 3 bedroom apartment was. The beds were comfortable and the location was good.

For a 3 bedroom apartment with cooking facilities and a full kitchen there was not even a single salt shaker provided. No oil or pepper and no extra baking paper. For a 1 night stay at $380 that was a bit disappointing when we brought food home to cook. Also, check in is 1pm which is excellent but we were on a weird schedule with kids sport timetable and asked if we could please be notified as soon as our room was ready as it was only 1 night and if we missed 1pm it was going to be 8pm with 4 little kids. The room was ready but no phone call. I asked again at 12.40pm and it was easily ready for us to access without hesitation. Customer service was a bit off. I know it was asking a favour but it wasn't a huge one, especially since the room was ready and we paid a fair price for 1 night.

The location was perfect for the Iron man race. If you are supporting an athlete, and have limited mobility or young children, this motel is perfectly located along the Ironman race (bike and run route). It is also very near the finishing point. Many great eateries and restaurants within 600m of El Motor Inn. I also love the team working at El Motor Inn. My daughter requested for a microwave after check in and none were available. The staff took a microwave in the staff panty and installed it in our room. The inn also provided rags to clean the bikes. Sufficient parking and you can drive out to Matthew Flinders to support your athlete

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Motor Inn. Staff arranged to pick us up at the Bus Terminal which was most appreciated as we had travelled by train from Melbourne. The room was very clean and the bed really comfortable. The bathroom was clean and updated. Plenty of hanging space in wardrobe. Our room was serviced daily, which we have not experienced from other motels for a long time! Clean towels were replaced every day without asking, which was also appreciated. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The local supermarket was within a few minutes walking distance which was excellent as we prepared some of our own mini meals. The coastal walk is minutes away as is the Port where sightseeing cruises, boat hire, fishing trips can be taken. Close to shopping centre and eateries.

The bathroom was a tad small, but very clean.

Location of the motel was perfect, close to town and beach. The room was cool with air con and very clean and quiet. Staff were lovely.

The room was pretty small and the fridge was very tiny and awkward to use being up on a high shelf, I dropped things trying to put them into the fridge and couldn't even fit the contents of my small esky into the tiny fridge or re-freeze my icebrick to use the next day. A bigger fridge could have easily fit into the large cupboard it was in or even open shelving would have been more practical. There also was no microwave to use. The french-door style bathroom door was strange and not really well sealing, not sure why it wasn't a sliding door or something?

Our stay at El Paso Port Macquarie Motel was fantastic! From the friendly and welcoming staff to the spotless rooms and excellent amenities, everything exceeded our expectations. The recent refurbishments were evident, and the deluxe rooms were perfectly designed to accommodate three guests comfortably. The location is unbeatable, with convenient access to shopping and delicious nearby restaurants. Although we only stayed for a night, we’d happily return for a longer weekend getaway!

Elevate price due to holiday period but that is to be expected. I paid the same amount for a hotel in Sydney about a month ago.

Located smack-bang in the middle of Port Macquarie, so everything is within easy walking distance. Front desk staff helpful, friendly and courteous. Room was comfy and neat, slept well. Room was located upstairs, stairs reasonably easy to navigate however noticed that there is a lift installed for those who are mobility-impaired, a really thoughtful addition.

Parking is difficult if you are not an early arrival. There are a limited number of spaces in front of the rooms with extra underground parking at the back of the motel, however it is very, very tight and hard to maneuver into the spaces if there's one or two 4WDs parked in there. Had to park in the reception bay as we were last to check in.

Great spot in the center of town. We were warmly welcomed and the staff kindly sorted out parking as they were relatively busy, even moving their own car for me. Lovely room on upper level, must have been done up recently as even had USB ports in wall. Bed was very comfortable, modern bathroom and nicely stocked mini bar. TV had good access to streaming services. The room was on the upper level facing the main street and as it was a Friday night it was a little bit noisy outside. It didn’t bother us and it wasn’t too late when it settled down. We had a great meal at Miss Lucy’s across the road - Japanese fusion. Delicious dumplings and botanical cocktails. We left early but Casualties Expresso nearby was open from 6am (5:30am on weekdays) with great coffee.

Quite modern hotel in downtown MacQuarie with ample parking (garage and courtyard). We had a very friendly welcome and there was another guy from the staff we encountered several times and who was always willing to tell us something about the town or the animals we had seen around. The room was third floor, reachable by elevator and nice and comfortable. Comfy beds and a big bathroom. There's also a Cafe in the hotel that serves a nice breakfast. The hotel is in walking distance to everything in downtown and at the waterfront.

Nothing to dislike - just a word of warning: There are thousands of very noisy lorikeets in the trees in downtown and they need a long time until they finally sleep. For us it was rather funny and interesting than annoying and the room was soundproof enough anyways.

Parking at this property is a disaster. When I booked the site said parking outside our room, but there was no allocated parking. Finding a park was challenging, and if we went anywhere in the car, our park would be gone when we returned.

Location. One minutes walk to shops, restaurants and waterfront CBD. Yet it was quiet. Perfect. Will be booking to stay there next year. This hotel was really good value for money. Staff were lovely too. 10/10 for this stay

Minor. It would be nice to have one allocated / dedicated car park per room that is marked with a room number as we had to park outside on the Road on the 2nd day. Plenty of free Street parking but as we carry goods for our business, it’s great to have our van close to our room.
