I recently enjoyed a stay at Porin Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was absolutely wonderful, providing friendly and attentive service that made me feel right at home. The breakfast was a delightful experience, offering a wide variety of delicious options to kickstart my day. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, and the modern rooms were both stylish and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Additionally, the location is perfect, with many local attractions, shops, and dining options within easy walking distance. Overall, Porin Hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning!

We only stayed at this hotel for one evening but it was lovely and had everything we needed. The breakfast at the restaurant below was lovely - different ownership. The hotel was value for money in the busy Makarska.

I gave a 9 and not a 10 as I booked this hotel as it had ‘parking’ in its facilities list. On arrival we were told parking was not available through the hotel and they had run out of discount cards. They did however direct us to a reasonably close public parking which cost us 27€ for the 17 hours.

We had a bad when arriving, a bit late, but received a good welcome. Dana is super cool and helped a lot. The hotel is located extremely well, benefits from public parking and the design of the rooms is very modern. Bathroom is very chic and has character, very comfy beds and pillows. Overall, the location is great - city centre with nightlife, many shops around, good restaurants and 5 min close to the ferry to Island Brac.

The restaurant and the hotel is not that great, breakfast was fairly limited and a bit under expectations. However, staff is very nice and friendly, surely you can discuss and find a good option.

Wonderful warm, friendly staff. Ivana, the receptionist, is the sweetest, most helpful and positive person we have met on our journey. The rooms are lovely - freshly decorated, super clean, modern, cool in a hot summer day. A lift was a welcome surprise (not many hotels in the old towns would have them!) The location is fantastic, exactly in the centre of the old town bustling with life, cafes and restaurants and overlooking a beautiful marina.

The room is very beautiful and modern, it’s very clean, the staff is excellent and so polite, the breakfast is phenomenal. My absolutely favorite hotel to go to in Makarska.

This is not so much about the property but just a little reminder to bring earplugs. There are occasionally street performers behind the hotel, and you can hear them incredibly well in your room, at least we could in ours, and it was impossible to sleep until he stopped singing.

The hotel was great! Super clean, we wished we stayed more than 1 night at this hotel. My partner has the sushi for dinner and he said it was the best Sushi he has ever had and we are from Vancouver! The hotel was beautiful and right along the water, We were so lucky to have arrived here on fishermans night, only Monday nights in the summer. What a cool experience to have seen.

Everything was great, close to the beach, nice room with Rituals cosmetics, great breakfast! Staff was friendly. We booked parking place and we had no problem finding free space on the street.

Some guests can be bothered by live music or DJ in front of the hotel until late hours. We had room on the opposite side of building and it was much better.

Hotel Porin in Makarska is an absolute gem! Everything about this hotel is perfect, from the beautifully designed rooms to the smallest, cutest details that make the stay truly unforgettable. The level of comfort and luxury is unmatched, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel is remarkable. It’s easily the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, offering a flawless experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

I loved the staff - they were so warm, kind & thoughtful. I loved the location for ease of access to the local beach & the track to the nugal beach which was so beautiful, including the walk. Wow the views! I loved that there was a square behind with a beautiful church & a fabulous restaurant - Gusto Diva. My room was super lovely. And cute beach towel provided. Great amenities including robe & slippers.

It's unfortunately not very sound proof. I was trying to work out how it could be resolved .... maybe another soundproof door between front door & bedroom ? I don't want to make a negative comment because it was a very worthwhile stay.

Best was the staff. All were genuine in being helpful, honest, and giving great service. Room was upgraded to superior which was light and spacious - good bathroom and comfortable.

Minor item - I was advised by the staff that being a lower level and front room (nice view) but may hear some noise if people get partying at nearby bars - more the music. This did not occur so I was fine.
