John and Beth were welcoming, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They had great knowledge of the area and places of interest. The room was spacious clean and extremely comfortable, the little touches of home made fudge and shortbread were very thoughtful. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice all cooked from fresh and beautifully presented the freshly baked goods for us to takeaway for later was so thoughtful. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing hospitality from John and Beth and a brilliant combination of a deep sleep followed by a stunning breakfast. The room had a feeling of quality and the mattress was handmade and luxurious and just fantastically comfortable.

The location was stunning to get away from everything but it did mean you had to plan for an evening meal somewhere else. Apart from that, we had a brilliant trip and were made to feel at home and part of the family.

Everything was 1st class. Absolutely amazing. I cannot praise Beth and John enough for how they looked after my friend and I. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending a stay at Arden Country House to anybody who wants to enjoy a fabulous experience. Thank you so much to Beth and John for making our stay such a memorable one.

The location was great only a short drive to the Edinburgh but in great scenic location and not far from many great sites of interest. The Room was a great size and bed very comfy. Breakfast was fantastic and worth the cost of stay alone and the home cooked cookies were glorious John & Beth Excellent Hosts and extremely helpful

Lovely welcoming hosts who go above and beyond for guests. The rooms are beautifully decorated and really comfortable and the gardens surrounding the property are well established so you can watch the birds from the breakfast room. I can understand why the breakfast has won awards, choice, quality ingredients and beautifully presented.

Arden Country House was one of the best B&B stays we've ever had. The property is lovely, and well-located about a 7-minute drive from the heart of Linlithgow. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and extremely well-appointed. Lots of thought went into the details, from the very comfortable bed to the quality of the toiletries. The hosts are very accommodating, and the breakfasts are truly outstanding. Given the quality of the property, the price is very reasonable.

Some kind of nightlight for the bathroom would be appreciated: the bathroom light is very bright, and using the loo in the middle of the night would be easier/less disruptive with a simple night light.

This place is stunning. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. Our bathroom was so large, elegant and clean. The towel warmers, the large tub, everything was exceptional. The breakfast in the morning was jaw dropping. So much food, so many choices, fresh ingredients. My partner and I were stunned with the quality. The hosts were incredible. They gave us so many tips on where to go and where we should stop on our road trip to Inverness. We discussed politics and health care and geography. Our stay here was one we will not forget and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

The hosts, John and Beth were so helpful with our inquiries before our stay. They offered an excellent suggestion for a dinner location, and even provided directions there from the airport, and then to their property. Their location is very convenient to anyone booking from Edinburgh, or Glasgow. The property is so beautiful when one first drives up. It is every bit as beautiful inside, as it is very tastefully decorated. John and Beth graciously go the extra mile, and then some to assure that their guests have everything they need. Upon arrival in the breakfast area, we were greeted and shown the display of assorted fresh fruits and granola. It was so fresh! The cinnamon pears that Beth prepared were a favorite! The hot breakfast menu was substantial, and delicious! The room was very comfortable and well appointed. I loved the color theme of the room we stayed in!

There is nothing at all to dislike about this property. We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay there.

Beth and John were absolutely fantastic hosts and have a beautiful location. Quiet, peaceful and checked every box we could think of. We were in the area for a wedding and my wife’s hair straightener didn’t work even with an adapter. Beth came to the rescue with a straightener my wife was able to use. Just absolutely top notch.

The house is beautiful and the hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was delicious and well worth the additional cost (no need for lunch!). Beth left us gorgeous homemade sweet treats in our room each day, which were a lovely surprise.
