EVERYTHING. The location was perfect with a lovely beach only 5 minutes walk away. The best part was the lovely staff. They were always kind and friendly, ready to help. The property was always clean and we always felt safe and comfortable! The airport pick up was also amazing and hassle free, making our whole trip start and end on a great note.

A wonderful hotel. Many thanks to all the staff who made our holiday excellent and unforgettable! The location is very convenient: 5–7 minutes to the beach via another large hotel, 10 minutes to local cafés and 15 minutes to mini stalls and fruit stands. Yes, it's a bit dark in the evening, but it's not a long walk and it's actually safe. A lot of hotels are being built in the area now, so perhaps it will be brighter by next season. The territory and service are excellent: the territory is very compact and green. I recommend taking rooms with a view of the pool because then you will only have one other room as a neighbour. However, the building behind the two-room houses has one title for eight rooms, so you will be more 'dependent' on the quietness of your neighbours. We used the laundry service once and found it excellent value for money — they brought us clean clothes within 4–5 hours on the same day. We also went to their spa twice and had back and shoulder massages, as well as deep tissue massages, which were also very good. It was much better than the salons outside the hotel. I tried the massage there twice and it was relaxing, but it didn't work on the deep muscles. They give you a 10% discount durWe also took a taxi from the hotel to the nearest town for a walk, which cost 150,000 dongs. It was a great price, and very easy and convenient. We also had lunch at our hotel. First, of course, we tried the nearby cafés, but, having seen the level of hygiene and the rats, we only ate in two places: lunch at our hotel and dinner at a family café 10 minutes' walk away (Streamside). The prices aren't that different. Alcoholic drinks are really expensive though, and they also give a 10% discount every day on everything. You can pay by card (Visa, Amex or Mastercard). They also changed the towels and swept the sand in the room every day, and put two small bottles of water out. The service was very ping the daytime.

The resort is far away from the main extractions of a new modern Phu Quoc. It's located in a wooded area, near a beach. That gives its customers a sense of relaxation and contentment with nature. If one likes to visit both the North and South end of the hotel for entertainment, the cost of transportation is the same as one must cover the same distance. (NOTE: for people traveling as a family with children who love a festival atmosphere, it might be best to book hotels within the Vincom entertainment centers) We love the breakfasts. There are many dishes to choose from. One can start breakfast at 9:00 am and skip lunch without feeling hungry! (Maybe we are seniors and don't eat much!) The swimming pool is well maintained. If one prefers dipping in the sea, the beach is only 250m away with crystal clear water. The staff is very attentive to the needs of the customers. They speak English well enough to satisfy your needs.

The Kingo Retreat is fabulous, believe the hype! 😊 from the moment we were collected from the ferry to the moment we were dropped off at the airport (both free of charge), the Kingo exceeded expectations. We had a poolside bungalow which was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, with fantastic air con and a super comfortable bed. The pool is a good size with lots of sun loungers and the breakfast was the best we had in over three months in Asia. The best thing about the Kingo, however, is the staff - they go above and beyond every single day and always with a smile 😊 and when considering the price, there really is no other option in Phu Quoc.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. So peaceful and you feel as though you’re in another world. The staff are amazing (thank you Bao). great restaurant. definately recommend

we came in the ‘low season’ (end of July) so did not experience the nearby bars and restaurants that we read about in the reviews as they were closed, but this is obviously no fault of the hotel

Super great experience. Super friendly and helpful staff. Really liked the clean pool and the chairs for chilling. The gym was sufficient. It has one set of adjustable dumbbells from 2-20kg, treadmills, smith machine and a pull-up bar. The gym had AC and was much better than we expected based on other reviews. We also rented a scooter from them for 3 days to explore the island. The scooter cost 150k for a day. The breakfast was amazing. We stayed for 5 nights and they offered different Asian things every morning. We also had 6!! kinds of fruit every morning. And the usual western stuff - croissants, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, yoghurt, cashews, juices. Airport transfer was also very smooth and they had a nice van for the ride. Overall, we highly recommend staying at Kingo Resort.

The closest access to the sea was through another resort that closed its doors with sunset. We had to ask the guard to open the gate and let us walk out of the resort after sunset. Also the resort doors were closed early in the morning (around 6.30), but we were able to get to the beach by climbing over rocks :D The gym could use more than 1 set of dumbbells. Also, a Bluetooth speaker could make the gym experience more fun.

We had a lovely stay in this resort. The room was very clean and with a good and silent A/C. We enjoyed the pool every morning, always clean and with enough space. The staff is super friendly, on the last day we had an early pick up to the airport and they prepared us some really good breakfast to take on the plane. Just to add, they offer free pick up and drop to the airport. Really recommend this place.

Nothing to point out.

We were truly overwhelmed by our stay at this resort, whole open area is a big garden with great and very clean pool at central point. Rooms are very specious, with great design, cleaned everyday. Whole staff was extreamly polite and helpful during our stay. Big pros are scooters to rent directly from the resort and bikes (those are free of charge). Highly recommend this place if you wanna feel like you starring in White Lotus, but without all the drama..

The property is absolutely beautiful, so relaxing and tranquil. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything at any time of day. The free bikes make it so easy to explore around and the beach is walkable and so beautiful. Breakfast was really nice and the rooms were impeccably clean

The only thing is the tiles in the pool area are very very slippery when wet, even when walking carefully we had people slip over

Excellent have already given it top marks. This led to extended stay. Great staff and breakfast. Great apartment suit from singles to family. Quiet off season July and August perfect time to come - great pool and lush gardens. Scooters are good price at hotel and great for trips. Tip try a scooter trip on the road going around the Nat park to other side of island and back around using the coast ride, beautiful scenery great adventure. Stop off at Rory's bar on way down the coast - Google it. At end of lane from hotel another restaurant called Wood House? Food ok there too - take the free bike from hotel.. Beach bar at end of road. Quite tranquil so not a place for family with uncontrolled screaming kids, try the adventure park hotels.
