The hot breakfast was very good, lots of options to choose from. After the trip there was a slight billing issue that ended up being between the hotel and Booking.com, and the hotel manager was very quick to resolve that for me. All the staff I encountered were very nice and helpful.

The rooms (at least the ones used by my family and friends) have an always-on fan in the bathroom. The sound is muffled when the bathroom door is closed, but still audible in the bedroom.

I liked a lot! Nice staff, comfy, clean rooms, good bathrooms that were stocked with toiletries, coffee maker fridge and a microwave right in the room, beds were comfortable. Great breakfast! Everything was great!

They only thing i didn't like was that you couldn't see oncoming traffic because the bushes were in the way at the Hillsdale Rd/India Rd intersection.

Excellent breakfast with good selection of products. The variety of different teas available was great.

I booked online and thought that I was booking at the Hampton Inn on Main St close to the hospital. Arriving there, we discovered that we were actually booked at another Hampton Inn across town. Not sure how this occurred but suspect it was computer related. Staff at both locations were very helpful.

It was hot and it was adequate.

Originally assigned to the room next to the elevator and the ice machine- i.e., the noisiest room on the floor. When I complained, we were moved to a better room in the center of the hall. Just like in restaurants they try to sit you at the worst table to get it occupied. Why not give the customer who is there the best room first so one does not have to complain to get the better room?

Location was a bit difficult to find. The room was small but I was impressed with the usage of space. Love the pull out feature by beds & in bathroom. Shower was excellent! Beds & linens very comfortable. Air control unit was better than others..less noisy & kept good temperature. The breakfast area was very bright, clean & better than recent others places. Check in woman was very pleasant.

I really liked this room despite the narrow width. Good use of space by eliminating the full closet. As a CPAP user..there are MANY of us!! …I would like to see more options in hotels to hang up the CPAP hose during the night.. your pull out tray feature in this room was a good start in accommodating a CPAP.. please take it to the next level by learning what we need for these common devices; easily accessible outlets & a hook to take up the “slack” in the hose.

The Room, Staff, Breakfast were all amazing. The room was clean. The internet worked great. Everything you expect for a hotel of this caliber.

The Location, The hotel was not the hotel I was planning on staying, as there are two Hampton Inn(s) in Charlottesville VA. This one just happens to be on the north side of the city, outside downtown area. Had to get an uber each time I wanted to visit downtown.

Good standard Hampton Inn breakfast: fresh fruit, oatmeal, waffles, eggs (hard boiled and scrambled), ham, cereal, bagels & muffins, yogurt, milk, juices, coffee (light and dark roast) & tea. Everything was clean and tasty.

I'm not a fan of the barn doors for bathrooms -- too much exposure even when closed.

Location, ease of checking in/out, parking. A very convenient hotel for our purposes.

We come to UVA football games each fall. I was a little surprised that the rooms (throughout six games) were almost $350. If I remember correctly, last year the rooms were in the neighborhood of $289. Nothing has changed at the hotel except the price.

Easy access to parking. Building well-maintained and friendly, helpful staff.

Effectively a motel located in a shopping center. You have to drive to get to the city center, the University of Virginia, Monticello... No laundry facilities.

I’ve always liked the Hampton Inn, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Not as spacious as others I’ve stayed in elsewhere. The staff courteous, friendly and helpful. This feels almost like home.

As I said, the room I stayed in could have been more spacious for 2 queen sized beds. It felt like we were on top of each other.
