It is well maintained and quiet. The staff at the bar suggested sitting in the courtyard for drinking our wine (a bit overpriced) and the staff at the front desk came out and turned on the firepit which was nice. The room was nice, odd opening for door into shower, but not sure putting the hinges on the other side would work either.

The refrigerator was on overdrive. We put our glass ice tea drinks in there at 6pm and the next day, at 9 am both drinks were frozen, very lucky the glass didn't break. It was set too cold but I didn't even think to look when I put the drinks in the night before. Maybe something to add to what the housekeeping staff checks when servicing the room.

This hotel is near, but not on, a major road. There were other hotels in the area, but this one is probably a lot quieter since it is set away from the busy street. Many restaurant choices nearby. The person who checked us in had lots of great recommendations.

I always like a complimentary breakfast. There isn't one here. Also, they came and knocked on our door at 8 am to clean the room... that seems a bit too early!

The hotel did a great job of accommodating our requests for two rooms close together and away from the construction going on at the hotel. The breakfast was better than I expected, and the service was terrific.

We were traveling with my 90-year-old mother who uses a walker. (Luckily, our rooms weren't that far from the elevator.) There was no access to the parking lot that didn't include the need to step up or down a curb. You need to cut in some ramps.

Spacious room, parking available on premises, extremely helpful staff that is actively engaged to make your stay in Charlottesville remarkable.

Not too many options for breakfast, if you are on gluten free diet you end up having just coffee.

Convenient location, comfortable and clean room.

Wifi worked for my phone but I couldn't connect my laptop or tablet.

The room was clean and the service was great.

Bed was comfortable, as was the couch, the location was quiet, I put the heat up on 80 degrees, had a coffee maker & a fridge in my room, hot water for my shower & plenty of it. I had a small balcony, there was a laundry to wash my clothes, a snack shop with wine and ice cream, too! The list goes on & on!

There was nothing that I didn't like about my stay.

Loved the pool. This was a great refuge hotel in our hometown. We stayed here because we had no electricity or Internet at home.

No complaints, it was great.

Good food and coffee at The Bistro. All of the staff was extremely attentive.
