The location directly on the lake shore is fabulous. The hotel is cosy, the rooms simple and modern. We had a balcony with a beautiful lake view.

Because of the heat outside, our room was very hot at night and the provided ventilator did not help much. Also, upon check-out, we were billed double for the room which had been pre-paid. While that can happen, it took the only available staff to serve breakfast and man the reception very long to figure out the invoicing & reimbursement. These things happen and it was resolved, but clearly many smaller hotels suffer from understaffing.

Hotel is located right on Lake Geneva and the walking paths along the lake. Room had an excellent view over the lake. Beds were so very comfortable, best beds of our whole trip. Had a nice dinner in the restaurant.

Very difficult to park. No spaces when we arrived so just had to wait for one to come available. We didn't stay for breakfast because it was so expensive. Latch on window shutter was broken so the wind made the shutter close and open making a squealing noise in the night.

the recently new owner has really upgraded what was a tired hotel. the situation is incomparable, as are the views of the lake, the Savoy Alps, the beautiful lake steamers calling at the jetty ….The staff are great, the rooms neat and clean, loads of sitting out or in areas, abundant trees for shade

Fabulous location in a cute village surrounded by vineyards (Lavaux) and right on Lake Geneva with views to the Alps. Sumptuous bed, bedding, towels and dressing gown to cosy up into. Room was a comfortable temperature. Bathroom has a roomy shower. Immaculately clean throughout. Character, tasteful decor and the history behind the place. Tea-making facilities in the hallway on 2nd floor. Nice common areas with plenty of space and cosy chairs to relax. I was grateful to be able to leave my bag for a while after check-out.

Poor communications - I received generic promotional communications, but got no answer to my two requests for information about check-in, bag drop off and whether they issue a public transport explore card for the area. It was only when I telephoned, that I got an answer and indeed was able to check-in early. The sound insulation is very poor- I could hear everything going on in the room next door and they weren't being noisy. The door knockers rattle whenever you move the door to the room, so entry/exiting the room is inherently noisy. I hated having to give my credit card details to access WiFi, it really shouldn't be that complicated and I worry about data security. Bed is probably too soft for quality sleep as opposed to luxury lazing.

Staff were super friendly and very helpful. The restaurant food was super and the location was fabalous. Also very acomodating for the dogs.

The room was very warm so it would have been good to have a single sheet as well as the warm duvet.

Location at the lake is superb, with a fantastic view, even with bad weather (unfortunately our case…). The hotel is nicely renovated, our room was spacious and the staff was very friendly.

There is practically no parking available, only one space reserved for the hotel; I guess, a general problem in such a charming (small) village… Something else, the bed was very high, I had some problems to get into it with my short legs…

The lobby does not have a warm feeling on arrival but you realise later that it suits the style of the hotel

This is not unusual and ok for the price, but travelers should be aware that there is no a/c. A powerful table fan is provided, but it can only do so much in a heat wave.

Peaceful and beautiful...perfect! The view is stunning in all weather!

The door was stuck one night and had to go find a waitress at the restaurant who could not manage either...all this time it was raining..I told her that I was going back to Lausanne and that they could pay the bill. She came after me when I was almost at the Coop as someone had managed. Secondly the 3 nights the Restaurant is closed so are the doors to go to the elevator...otherwise perfect!

Charming hotel on the shore of Lake Geneva in a peaceful village. Easy walk from the train station. Clean and comfortable room. We enjoyed drinks in the bar as well as a delicious lunch in the restaurant. All staff we interacted with were friendly and efficient.

Elevator goes only as far as second floor. Room on higher floor can get rather warm (no air conditioning).
