Great location, our room was on ground floor which suited us, the location was quiet and protected from early morning sunlight, which we love. There is sufficient security to make you feel comfortable. This property doesn’t offer daily house keeping but the staff are very obliging when requiring and refills such as soap, shampoo, coffee. The decor of this room was fitting with a period home. The property is one block from the beach and a short walk to a bus stop, two cafes, a bottle shop and a couple of restaurants.

There isn’t a lot to dislike about this property.

We were upgraded to a two bed room unit. The unit is a proper two bed unit and it has got all the facilities. If you are travelling with a family and wish to stay in Manly, Manly Waves is a good choice as it's only 20 minutes' ferry to Sydney city and affordable.

One face towel and beach towel have yellowish stuff on(not just stains). I have contacted the office and I was told that all the beddings and towel have been changed.

Parking was difficult check in car strange person at the property I think lives there frightened my wife we called the police and reported it he watched her in our car when I was over at the other side her also stood it front of her when she went to go up the stairs and later banged on our door. I said we will call police and he mumbled in words I didn’t understand he stayed around the door for over 10 minutes I also rang the manager

The Manly Waves Studios and Apartments are the perfect location for exploring Manly and the rest of Sydney. The beautiful Manly beach is at the end of the road and all the shops and restaurants of Manly are a short walk away. We were upgraded to a two bedroomed flat which was a nice treat for our family of five and the flat had everything we needed including a washing machine which was an added bonus. For a stay in Manly I would highly recommend staying at Manly Waves - the reception team were incredibly helpful too.

We were so well looked after with an amazing upgrade to a lovely apartment, which made our 5 day stay so extremely enjoyable.

The air-conditioning unit wasn't working. But, no problem, we were moved into another room where the air-conditioning system was working. You need air-conditioning in the Manly Humidity 🤣

This is not the first time we have stayed here. Roxie the manager is amazing goes above and beyond. I will recommend again and again. Rooms are clean and well supplied. Always a little something left for you to nibble on. Great place

Great location really close to sea and an easy walk to ferry terminal and restaurants. Huge shower. Fresh milk left in the fridge to go with the tea and coffee. If "shabby chic" is your thing you'll love it.

Wardrobe in the corner wobbled against the wall and made noise as you walked around the room.

This property is all about the experience and location, location, location. What is lacks due to age, it by far makes up in character, cleanliness and the personalised service. This team go the extra mile to make sure you are happy, comfortable and relaxed. I didn’t have to ask for a thing, as my needs were met before I knew what I needed myself! We had a lovely 2 night’s stay and enjoyed the convenience of being a short stroll to the waters edge. Thank you to the team, we will definitely return.

Nothing. Some renovations in future will be amazing to see and only elevate the property. But this did not impact my stay. Everything was clean and functional.

Location is perfect. Pets allowed! it's just 2 mins walk from the property to the beach where we can walk our dog. Great for our short stay to visit our daughter and grandkids who live just 4 mins away.

The street light shines through the big gaps in bamboo curtain right into my eyes the whole night. the tap in the bathroom vanity is very forceful thus water splashes everywhere.

Great spot, nice walking distance from most things and the area was quiet. The room is nice and comfortable, very cute too with a surf vibe. The owners are awesome to deal with, very responsive and great communication. Would stay again for sure, it has all the little bits we needed for a nice weekend away.
