All staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! Breakfast was varied and fresh and also had several choices for vegans. Bed was comfortable and the room was small(standard single) but was well furnished. Place was spotless!!

Pillows too high and firm but staff brought better ones when asked. Mosquitos come into the room if you leave the window open at night to have some ventilation. There is a phone in the room but it doesn't work There is a coffee machine in the room which is great if you drink coffee - it would be nice if there would be a water kettle option and tea.. The rest area in the sauna could do with some refurbishment and better sun beds. They are uncomfortable and very small

The hotel has a cozy, family-run atmosphere, and the view from the rooftop terrace was simply stunning! In the morning, we enjoyed a generous breakfast selection — enough to satisfy both a hungry biker and even the most demanding foodie 😊. After exploring Zell am See and riding along the alpine lake, we’re now heading towards Grossglockner — but we’ll definitely be happy to return someday. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Traube in Zell am See, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the lake and mountains that can be enjoyed from the comfort of our room. The accommodations were cozy, modern, and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. The hotel's amenities are top-notch. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a delicious variety of fresh local produce, pastries, and hearty options to fuel our adventures. Zell am See itself is a gem, with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy year-round. Whether hiking, skiing, or simply strolling around the charming town, there’s something for everyone. Overall, Hotel Traube exceeded our expectations and made our stay in Zell am See truly memorable. I can't wait to return!

Hotel Traube is very central in Zell and within an easy walk of the Bahnhof, City Express ski lift and all shops, bars and restaurants. The staff are really friendly and helpful and my room was a good size, clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of a great coffee machine! The hotel breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. I would happily recommend Hotel Traube!

Very friendly staff, spacious rooms, great breakfast, very comfy beds, spare duvet and blankets. Great location, sauna could be used at any time and very well stocked with towels and water

No faults. Church bells ring at 7am for a few minutes. But I liked that. It might bother some people. Saved us having to set an alarm as we were up early for skiing.

It is in an excellent location, walking distance to shops restaurant’s, train, buses. The staff were always warm and friendly. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The breakfast is very well presented and great value, and the food in their restaurant is excellent. They also welcome and cater for young children. They’re hot chocolate is exceptional. The view of the lake and the mountains was an absolute pleasure to wake up to every morning. Can’t highly recommend this place enough. Absolutely enjoyed staying there and hope to return one day.

Very central, the city is lively at night and during the day. Lots to do and great eateries about, the hotel's own one was excellent. The room was hugh, we had a seating area separate from the sleeping area, decent size bathroom. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Fan in room was brilliant in heat. Really helpful friendly staff, loved the place.

Funny negative was rediculously creaky bed frame, we had to put mattress on floor but slept well- have told them about it so should be sorted for next guests by now! Night club behind gives a dull thud of music till about 3am first night but closing windows helped and they have fans in room so not too hot

My room was very comfortable and very clean with free coffee also included. Access to a very nice hotel sauna Location was great, right in the middle of town and close to many bars and places to eat. Ski and boot room access was also a bonus The staff I met were friendly

Hotel has a great vibe, I was glad that there was elevator so that we could easily move around with the pushchair. I found the Stuff very friendly, parking recommendations were clear and very useful. They are giving discount voucher for the parking place so that you can park your car for 15EUR which is considerably cheap. Location was very convenient - close to the lake, restaurants all around, nice, clean, there is also a chance of nice view to the lake.

I cannot tell that I don`t like something. All was good in my view.
