The breakfast was perfect. I have never tasted better 'burek' than at Hotel Adria (‘burek’ is a type of Balkan pastry). Perfect location, just two steps from the center of Sofia, in the cultural and historical part, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. If you're driving, the hotel has its own parking. Or even better, park your car and take advantage of the metro or tram that pass nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful; spacious rooms; cleanliness at a high level. I highly recommend it.

Pillows a bit lower (since I prefer to sleep with very thin pillows :)

This is a nice small hotel behind the Ramada which is next to the Sofia central bus station. I would say a 10-minute walk to the center depending on where you are going. The room is clean and the air conditioning is good. The parking is very accessible in the courtyard. I have stayed a few times here and although the parking is small there was always a spot. If there is none available there is a pay lot across the street. They have a nice breakfast in the morning with coffee.The room is nice but the bed is a little small for me but still I was comfortable.

The location is ideal as it is within walking distance of all the major attractions plus the fact that it is merely 500m from Sofia Central Railway Station and Serdika Bus Station which makes one’s life so much easier. The reception staff are very polite and accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage at the reception after we checked out and picked it up just before our overnight bus at 23:00.

The shower area and the sink do not drain fast enough so water tends to accumulate. The pillows were lumpy and could be better. The room was a little too small for our luggage and it would have been great to have some kind of luggage stand where we can lay our suitcases.

getting there we walked from the central bus station it was so easy to find once there the reception area was small but exquisite a very posh seating area a lovely bar a refrigerated cabinet holding water etc the reception staff were very helpful they helped me out by printing of a boarding pass they were friendly suggestions of where to eat we were given our key card and it was so easy to find the room the stairs were very well lit with some inventive lighting as my parner has a pet hate of lifts the room again small but looked and was really comfortable the beds with their padded headboards and extra pillows the tv at the right height to watch in comfort room for everything and the bathroom the shower was more like a power shower very hot if that is how you like it pump liquid shower gel soap and shampoo all easy to use on the whole it was wonderful we will be using it again

Great place to stay in the central part of the city, within walking distance of the railway and bus stations. Parking is available for a small fee. I chose this place because they had a 24-hour reception, which was very convenient as I arrived around 4 a.m. The staff were friendly and polite, especially the lady at the front desk. She spoke English very well.

The unpleasant smell of cigarettes was coming from the bathroom.

The room was clean and nice, bathroom and shower were great. There was even a balcony, but it was raining so we could not enjoying it. It is very close to the bus and train stations (5 min walk) and they kept our luggages while we were visiting the city after checkout, so I really recommend it if you need a place to stay while you are traveling.

There are not lots of restaurants in the area, so if you arrive late you could have problems finding food. But obviously there's nothing the hotel can do about that

Overall, it was a decent hotel in a quiet location.

The young receptionist with long dark hair needs to go on a hospitality course as she had zero customer service ethic. She came across that she could not care less and couldn't crack a smile nor exchange pleasantries. Also the room was not particularly clean and the steam room and sauna were "not working: permanently", which is what the aforementioned receptionist told me when I enquired.

First of all, the Hotel is located close to the City Centre, next to the Central Bus Station of Sofia & with 2 Metro Stations nearby, so the Hotel's location is excellent. The staff were polite and catered to our needs when they could be met. The room was clean, spacious and had all the basic necessities one would expect from a Hotel of this caliber. The price was a also a plus since it was a value for money choice in the City Centre. Overall it was a satisfying stay that met our basic needs while there.

The soundproofing was not very good since we could clearly hear the thumping from the footsteps of the guests from the room above ours aswell as laughter & loud talking when our own room was quiet.

Location at first we thought is too far away but it really wasn't.its definitely more than a ten minute walk but there is a metro station 5 mins away. The room was good, although the mini fridge was v dirty. The bed was sooo comfy and the shower was amazing! The night receptionist was super sweet, kind and very helpful, unlike the daytime staff.
