The staff were very nice, the lobby and restaurant on site were air conditioned. The pool was nice. There were a few complimentary bottles of water in our room. Breakfast was included in the price and there was a pretty good selection. We had made to order omelettes. Other breakfast items included pastries, yoghurt, fruit, boiled eggs, beans, and a potato dish. Coffee and tea were also offered at breakfast and available in our room. We also ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The prices in the restaurant were very good. We also had some clothes washed and pressed. The prices are per item; however, the cost was very reasonable compared to other hotels we stayed in. We paid around $6 for 6-7 bottoms, 3-4 tops, 1 nightgown, 3 pairs of socks, and 3 undergarments. The hotel is right on the Nile, and the view was beautiful! There was a security guard and gate at the entrance of the property, which made us feel safe.

The hotel only accepts cash, and the ATM right outside the front door did not work for us. We tried 5 ATMs across the street before we found one that worked. The base of the shower was dirty.

Our room was HUGE. Great value. The view from our balcony of the Nile and the balloons rising at dawn was just AMAZING. we really loved this place. If you do stay here we HIGHLY RECOMMEND a walk across the road and go to your right - just a few paces up the road is ALADDIN's CAVE. You have to see this place. Saladin has EVERYTHING in this shop. The gentleman who cleaned our room each day was so nice, friendly, and went out of his way to be helpful. He made up some very clever animal figurines with our towels and left them on our bed each day. He didn't have to do that BUT you know it is the little things that count and we really appreciated it.

The only negative - there is no eftpos. We had to pay in cash only.

Room was lovely, super clean, and although the balcony was small, we had a fab view across the Nile to the west bank. Could see all the hot air balloons going up, early in the morning. The pool was lovely too, also with a view across the river. And the food was so good and really cheap!

The breakfast was awful. Nescafe sachets for coffee, instead of proper coffee, and hardly anything edible, apart from the falafel with tahina. No fresh fruit either, or salad, which is unusual in an Egyptian hotel

Great hotel facilities and location. Our room was amazing!

The staff in the restaurant were not friendly. They did not try and engage with us and were just stiff professionals. Rather disappointing as we were treated really well in a guesthouse in Aswan just before coming to Luxor. Also, couldn't work out if the staff were being racist with us because of our Asian ethnic background or if that is how they are. We decided to avoid the restaurant for meals and ate out inside. Lady (with hijab) at reception was great though!

Watching the sun set across the Nile over felucca boats zipping by in a cool evening breeze is an amazing experience, and here you get to sit by a gorgeous swimming pool to do that. The breakfast buffet was great, and the staff were always helpful. Our room was large, luxurious, with a private balcony with a view of the pool and the river.The value for money cannot be beat, and nothing old or dated.

- Our room.had a great view of the Nile river. - Everything was clean. - The staff was super helpful, and available. After our check out, our bus was leaving late, they offered us storage for our bags, and they let us use all the facilities for free. - There is a swimming pool which was godsent after a long day under the sun exploring the city.

- Breakfast was good but could be better. (Not many options)

Fantastic Hotel with direct Nile view, very elegant style, clean & spacious rooms, close to City Center, to corniche and all historical monuments, and Tourist attractions. Many thanks to all teams : administration , reception , housekeeping , breakfast & restaurant. Special thanks to General Manager for his kindness & warm welcome. Egypt is the best country i had visited.

Everything was perfect

It was there with my family and i was by far the best hotel we have been in our trip to Egypt.. Very clean and value for money for a 4 star hotel.

The only negative point i would say is that the swimming pool closes at 8pm.. after a long day of sightseeing at the valley of the kings and queens etc… you really need to relay in the pool but unfortunately that was not possible as it closes at 8pm. Also they do not have visa… so you cannot pay with your visa or master card, which is really strange for a 4 star hotel.

The location and the room size

The breakfast is very Egyptian, what we can eat is very limited, and the breakfast is fixed everyday. In addition, the lid of breakfast food basin is detached and heavy, so strange!when get food, it is very inconvenient! The staff is lazy, when ask hairdryer, we need to pick it ourselves at the reception even it is only 6:pm.
