Location was great, staff and pub were awesome.

Room was very bright in the morning and very noisy outside. You could hear everything out in the street.

The staff at Bankstown Hotel ( the 3 that we dealt with) were nothing but amazing. Josh was so accommodating from the first telephone conversation about parking and in regards to leaving our bags with him while we did what we needed to do, he checked us in a little earlier and gave us the only balcony room in the hotel. Josh carried our bags up the stairs to the room for us. Our stay was made more enjoyable and less stressful because of him. I would definitely recommend this place to stay as it is in walking distance to pretty much everything. Thanks again to your amazing staff on the 7th of September 2024.

We loved everything

Rooms were so fresh and super clean!!! Extremely well maintained and attended. Location was super central to all amenities in the area and the staff were incredibly helpful, pleasant and communicative! I also loved the ease of check in and check out plus the private accommodation entrance that gave me total control of my stay and freedom to come and go any time.

The only small thing was the lack of lift access with only a staircase and I had two big bags BUT honestly the staff were so helpful they carried my bags and assisted me anyway.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great. Easy parking 200m away on the same street. Close to bus and train.

Our late check-in meant that we had to go to the bar to get the manager. When we walked in, we were hit by cigarette smoke. This was a complete shock as non-smokers. I could still smell it when we went into the accommodation and when we got to the room. I either got used to the smell, or it wasn't as bad the second night.

Pretty bright in the day in the room even with the blinds up, would be a bit challenging for shiftworkers.

I love the location - near train station, near a mall, near grocery stores such as Coles, Aldi (even Kmart), near 7-11 and near coffee shops. I also like that it has an iron, aircondition and private bathroom. The room designed was as advertised, pleasant looking.

The cleaning service was not daily. We stayed a total of 8 nights and they only visited the room 3x. They replaced the water bottle, replaced towels and emptied the trash but cleaning was not entirely complete. The hair on the shower drain was not emptied and the floor was not vacuumed properly. No refill of toilet paper as well.

I stayed here because I went to a concert. This was the closest hotel to the Olympic Park with good reviews and under $400 a night. If I'm honest, I was bracing for a not so great experience, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is really close to the train station, which was great as I needed to head to the airport early in the morning. The room itself was on the smaller side, but very quiet and clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was perfect for a stay as short as mine. The staff very quite nice during check-in and check-out was as easy as dropping the keys in a box.

Maybe I'm being judgemental, but the area the hotel is located in made me feel a bit uneasy. I did not experience anything out of the ordinary, but it just felt a bit dodgy.

Had a fabulous stay. Beds were comfortable, room had everythinn we needed and great location, close to the train station.

The only downside to our stay would be that the external door on the street, leading up to the rooms, bangs shut very loudly, might need something to slow it from slamming Also I stayed with my mum, and she mentioned wishing that the stair rail extended the whole way up the stairs.

The cleanliness and state of the place. Lovely decor and ambience.

There wasn’t great parking… that is the only thing. Oh and no breakfast. Although there are cafes nearby, there’s something ‘special’ and convenient about rolling out of bed and dragging yourself to the downstairs breakfast room for a good hotel breakfast. That you don’t have to think about it, and in this case I wouldn’t have to worry about moving my car either before parking zones kick in.

The decor in the room, recently renovated was nice. Bed was comfy. Access to the train was close and convenient. Pub meal was good value.

There was only one dining area and although it is separate to the sports lounge, cigarette smoke was coming through the air conditioning duct into the dining area. Quite off putting when we were eating our meal. We were surprised smoking inside was allowed at all??
