I liked the greeting by David at reception offering local knowledge about food outlets ,petrol and directions to get onto the Hume. The unit was very clean,with a small kitchenette including a microwave. Air con and electric blankets for cold nights. I will return on my next trip to Canberra. Parking outside my door and with key drop no trouble leaving early. I also was early and was able to settle in quickly after a long drive. Felt safe as an older female solo traveler

Great location. 2 blocks from heart of town. The room was very spacious…almost double some I have stayed in. Very comfortable bed. As an older motel (aren’t they all?) it may not have the glitzy marble bench tops of a 5 star hotel but everything is well maintained with all you need there at a very reasonable price…particularly if you are on Genius level and booked via your phone ( $50 price reduction)!

An older motel that has been tarted up to be very comfortable and convenient. Bed was comfy with good pillows, Wifi was good and easy to join, All the usual appointments were there and functioning. Bedside light switches were good (a minor thing but handy in the middle of the night). Power points were very accessible alongside the bed and around the room near tables and benches. Good shower.

Not much to dislike.

We had a late arrival so we received a text from the manager with our code details. They had even left the heater on in our room for us. This was greatly appreciated and meant we could put three sleeping children into bed so easily. Having three children always makes it tricky for accomodation. This was perfect having a double bed and three singles in the one room for us.

Easy access from the highway and close to the centre of town. Very friendly and helpful staff/owner. It was a clean and comfortable room.

Area felt a little sketchy at night. Large number of cars doing burn outs/hooning in the middle of the night on the road in front of the motel - this went for ages and no police response - I was amazed. Felt like I was in a city with huge problems than a large regional town. Did leave me a little uneasy and questioned heading back.

Receptionist was friendly and full of information. Room size was generous, with lounge and small table and chairs. Towels were a decent size and there was a face washer provided, both of which are becoming more unusual.

Room decor could do with some updating, and wall fittings need redesign. Outside also looks tired. I'm also not a fan of the dispenser soap that so many motels now provide - would prefer small cakes.

10 minute walk from restaurants/cafes also botanic gardens and Murray River. We came from Melbourne by train, good trip and easier than driving for an older couple.

We booked at the motel for 4 nights, no housekeeping, had to go to the reception to get extra toiletries. A broom would have been handy as we used the kitchen to make b'fast and floor could have used a sweep .

It's a simple motel but it's clean and comfy. It's perfect for a night or 2 going through Albury. I've stayed here many times before on my way to and from qld. The owner is always welcoming. The beds are comfy Great lighting Clean bathroom. The price is great

There isn't anything I didn't like. It's perfect. It's dated but it's perfect for our needs. The price is fair too

Great location, only about 500m from town centre, the two bed apartment was spacious and clean with super comfy beds. Great lounge and kitchen area, the bathroom had a bath and seperate toilet! Staff very friendly.

Oddly the kitchen didn’t have a sink, however David was awesome, and organised a tub for us to wash up in.

The location was great, it was also nice & quiet. Brian at reception was very professional, extremely friendly & also helpful, he made me feel very welcome. The room was very nice & had everything you need. The bed was very comfy. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic. I will be staying there again next time we are in Albury.
