Αmazing location, very friendly staff. The room was large, comfortable, clean, with a king size bed, nice bathroom, beautiful city view, very quiet. The breakfast was also very nice. Not dozens of options, but everything was very well cooked. The rooftop bar is also great and everything in this hotel feels cozy.

Hotels like this one should have toiletries and flip flops. In addition to that, I've spent 50+ stays in various hotels. From 1* to 5* and I was never rejected some extra bottles of waters (of course by paying an extra amount). We've asked for 4 bottles of water at 01:15am and they told us that this is not possible because the bar was closed and they couldn't charge the bottles, not even credit them to our room and have us pay for them at the check out. This is the first time, ever, of encoutering a situation like this.

Mama Shelter has a very good position, being situated on the main street of Belgrade, having easy access to the main park of the city, the old town, and the commercial center it is connected with. The room was big, the view was nice, and the staff was always smiling and eager to help. I must also add that the breakfast area and the breakfast itself were a very nice experience.

While I have seen before in the reviews that toiletries are not offered due to environmental reasons, and same for slippers, seeing it for sale at the reception looks like a way to drive revenue at the cost of the confort of guests. For this kind of brand and hotel I think this is a shame and should be included in the cost.

This is the most charming hotel in an amazing location. The staff is super nice and helpful and the service is great. I always stay there when in Belgrade.

Hotel location is great, in the center of EVERYTHING. Bed is VERY comfortable, Staff is VERY nice and supporting. We were not satisfying with the room we got, and the reception staff did everything to improve our experience, eventually changed our room to a great one with very nice view of the park.

Breakfast could be better - limited choice, no eggs per request option, buffet were missing items regularly. The main access to the hotel is through the mall elevators, which are slow and very busy. We found it much easier to use the one single elevator that serves only the hotel (located at the back of the dining room). Hotel Parking is the mall parking and is very expensive (30 Euro per day).

The style is cool and relaxed. The location on top of a shopping center in the very heart of Belgrade downtown is just perfect. You find yourself in the middle of everything. I entered the chilled lounge like area on lobby level on an early Saturday afternoon and found people dancing 💃🏻 (yes, the DJ was already active) and in good mood. So I immediately liked this place.

Ma room had a noisy construction site just beside my window, so after my saturday party night ended around 5:30 a.m. my sleep ended 7:15 a.m. from construction works. This was a bit disappointing, especially on a Sunday morning.

Amazing location, extremely helpful staff, and interesting design. Even though this was my 2nd time staying.I got upgraded to the rooms on the first floor, and it felt like it was not an actual upgrade. The room was the same size, and it would be appreciated if toiletries were complete. I missed cotton buds, hair brush, and toothpaste. Besides the size of the room, the comfort on the bed, the cleanness, the size of the shower, and the toiletries, which made me feel like I was in a normal room. There was one huge difference between the normal rooms and the upgraded ones. The soundproofing. The room has a small balcony, and even if it's on the first floor, it's an additional layer to reflect sound from the cars. In the normal room, my sleep was interrupted by the noise from the main street. Additionally, there are only 4 rooms on the floor, and that means fewer people on the corridors. They also bring additional juice and fruits in the afternoon, and they welcome you by mame on a note on the mirror, which gives an additional friendless. Something that I would highly appreciate is to equip the room with additional thinner duvet because it was so much warm and heavy that I had to wake up every 30 minutes to uncover myself and then wake up again because I was getting cold. However, this has only to do with personal preference, and maybe I could have asked to give me one, which I didn't.

We stayed at the hotel, three people for four nights. On the first day, we arrived after midnight and were hungry, but everything in the area was closed. The receptionist was kind enough to check with her colleague to order food for us using a local app, and they even agreed to pay until I could exchange for local currency. The hotel is in an excellent location on Knez Mihailova, above a shopping mall with cafes, restaurants, and shops. The room we received was very spacious and equipped with all necessary amenities. The entire hotel were very friendly and willing to assist with everything. On the last day, the airline announced a delay, so the flight was scheduled to depart late at night. After I approached the reception, they arranged another room for me until my departure time to the airport and offered a significant discount for the room. In conclusion, an excellent hotel that we will definitely return to.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

My second stay at Mam's Shelter in Belgrade was just as fun and pleasant as the first time. Location of the hotel is top. Literally! It's simply hard to beat the wonderful views of Belgrade from the terrace. Especially while you are enjoying a cocktail or any other drink that you desire. Restaurant offers decent selection of dishes as well as pizzas. The baristas know how to pull a good shot of espresso petty much any time of the day. Since I was in a hurry in the morning I found the breakfast buffet not only convenient but also delicious. Hotel's gym is another gem since it's positioned in such a way that you can enjoy the view of a Kalemegdan park across the street. Lastly, the staff is kind , attentive and helpful. I can't wait to stay here again in the future!

Staff is great. Very central location. The bar/restaurant area is also very nice. Overall great place to stay in Belgrade. I recommend getting a room with park view, they are very nice.

Initially I got a room right next to the bar/restaurant and music was audible until about 11pm. But they changed me into a different room without any issues so all good! The air seemed a bit "stuffy" - the AC was not turned on yet.

Had a fantastic stay at Mama Shelter! The hotel has such a cool and vibrant atmosphere, and everything was spotlessly clean. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. The room was stylish and comfortable, and the overall vibe of the place was fun and welcoming. Definitely looking forward to coming back.
