A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Novi Sad! I recently stayed at Hotel Centar in the very center of Novi Sad, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with local recommendations or any small requests. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the main square, charming cafés, and the Danube promenade. I loved being able to explore the city on foot and return to such a comfortable and peaceful place at the end of the day. My room was spotless, modern, and well-appointed, with a beautiful view of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly—important during the summer heat!

The room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable, with a great view of the city. I especially appreciated the quiet at night despite the central location. Breakfast was varied and fresh, with a nice mix of local and international dishes. If I had to mention one small thing, it would be that the water pressure in the shower was a bit low during peak hours. It wasn’t a big issue and everything else in the bathroom worked perfectly—it just stood out a little in an otherwise flawless experience. I’m sure it’s something the hotel will easily address. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return. [Hotel Name] offers an ideal base for exploring Novi Sad, with excellent service and a great local vibe.

The room comes with a bathtub, but my room wasn’t equipped with a stopper, so I couldn’t use it as a bathtub, only as a shower. I asked at the reception, they said not all rooms are equipped with a bathtub stopper, so they find a free room and get a stopper from there. I mean, for that price, it’s strange there’s such an issue with stoppers. They cost almost nothing, but if you come late you may have to wait until the morning until the stopper is found. Also the Wi-Fi reception was poor. My phone was constantly losing the signal and switched to SIM, the laptop couldn’t do it of course. It was very slow. Slower than 4G. Again, for that type of hotel it’s embarrassing.

Location and the room size.

Although I booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children, there was no preparation made for the children. The room did not include the two-seater sofa shown in the advertisement. Initially, the staff offered an extra bed for €30, even though there should have been at least a foldable sofa to accommodate one of the children. After a brief discussion, the staff offered a complimentary room change to one that included a foldable sofa, which resolved the issue.

The night concierge when we arrived was also on duty the 2nd night, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, extremely helpful, and very welcoming. The older gentleman in the breakfast area was also fantastic, just as friendly and helpful. The staff made us feel like we were regulars even though it was our first visit. The hotel was exactly as depicted in the advertisement... clean, VERY big rooms, sleek and modern, comfy bed, delicious breakfast food, ideally located and within walking distance to many attractions.

We can't say anything was not to like. We would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting somewhere beautiful to stay in Novi Sad.

Everything was very good (room clean and comfortable, very comfortable beds, convenient location, good breakfast), except: 1) weak water pressure in the shower and poor drainage/removal of water from the bath). 2) Parking. We booked a parking space in advance (on the day of booking - 1 day before check-in), but the hotel parking lot was full and we received a message about this (thanks) and about the possibility of municipal parking in the city. Parking was not that easy and it took a while to get into the lot; We had to wait until there was a free space in the parking lot. But the hotel paid for parking, thank you.

Good breakfast, good location, friendly staff

parking is very complicated, especially if you are first time there. Entrance in parking (lift) is behind hotel in different street without any sign on hotel to help you to find it. People which are not skill divers can damage car very easily. Also, in front of hotel there is no place to park car and ask where to go because police is very active and they wanted to charge me 200 eur as penalty for parking on pavement for 3 min to enter in hotel and ask how to reach parking spot (garage/lift). I think it will be much easier if some map with instruction will be among information regarding parking.

Great location, stuff always smiling, very tasty breakfast, fresh bread and good coffee, clean room. I had window on the main street side, however the noise was not a problem for me at all. Actually I could have even open window as I do not have problems with sleep :-). Parking has to be booked, the access is easy, there is a parking lift so it could be a little bit tricky for somebody to get in or out of the underground garage.

Great hotel with big and comfortable room. This was second time that we have stayed in this hotel . Amazing staff with great knowledge and professionalism. Very helpful reception lady that was patient and happy to assist. Breakfast was simple outstanding. Amazing choice of food and drinks. Serbian food is simply amazing! Great location and it’s very good value for money. Staff in this hotel have offered Five Stars 🌟 experience even this hotel is not five stars.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The room didn't come with an electric kettle, but after communicating with the front desk, they provided one especially for me, for which I’m very thankful! I stayed for three nights, and the cleaning on the second and third days was very minimal. I'm not sure if this is the standard practice here? The mattress turned out to be quite comfortable, and I slept well! The front desk staff were excellent and took the time to thoroughly answer my questions about local tourism!

The location of the hotel was really good. It was easy to find and it's close to the city center.

The biggest issue with this hotel was the staff. They were unprofessional and rude since the first day. We had a problem with check-in and parking space (ask for the reservation). Even though we arrived at 15:00h, our room wasn't ready with an excuse that they had a lack of cleaning staff and that the rooms wouldn't be ready for another 2 hours. The eating area is really small and there isn't enough space for all the guests. The parking garage is crowded and small. The rooms are nice, you get fresh bath towels but they lack thorough cleaning.
