Hotel Leopold is the best hotel you can get in Novi Sad. Beautiful views on city and Danube in the nights. There are plenty of bars around the hotel which you can enjoy your views from. They're very affordable. Hotel staff was awesome and very helpful. You can order a very tasty foods and baverages to your room for very good price. Best pljeskavica with kajmak I ever had!

While the stay was pleasant overall, the breakfast could be improved — the selection was rather modest for a hotel of this category. The wellness area could be more relaxing with ambient music rather than playing the radio, which didn’t fully suit the spa environment. As someone who is 1.86m tall, I found the bed slightly short, which affected the overall comfort a little.

I like this place. When I go Novi Sad I choose this hotel usually. Extramly friendly staff. Breakfast is good. Room is also comfortable, clean and good. I prefer the city view, but I have no problem with the frotress view as well. I was on the garni side (2nd floor) which also good but the first floor is very nice, romantic and peacefull. Young staff helpfull in the breakfast/restaurant area, but the girl in the reception is helpfull and lovely. The hotel on the top of the city. I offer it for everybody.

I really like everything here. One thing that is not disturbing but rather strange is that when there is a big storm/wind, the 2nd floor is the noisiest (Garni side).

Great location on top of the fortress hill overlooking the city. The hotel is like an old villa with parlors furnished with antiques on both sides of the front desk. Beautiful floor tile and carpets throughout the hotel. Our room had a view of the Danube River. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We loved eating at the terrace cafe in the evenings with cocktails at sunset to watch the sun sink over the city and river.

Although the property has the best view in town, it's a 15 minute walk to the center of town. If you choose to walk back uphill to the fortress, there are 200 steps to hike up to the top. However, a cab was only about 4 Euros to the hotel and that was our chosen method for the return.

We had a room with an excellent view. We were 3 girl friends on a vacation and we couldn't have asked a better stay. It was extremely comfortable and we even booked ourselves a massage which was superb.

Since there were 3 of us, we were provided with a sofa bed, Unfortunately that bed took away quite some space in the room and looked a bit tacky. Also, a kettle would have been nice, something I need and missed to check since it is available in almost all hotels these days.

A fabulous hotel located right on the river, with fantastic views of the sunset. It was like taking a step back in time with the furnishings and decoration. The hotel is huge, with multiple hallways and spaces to explore. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well catered.

It is a non-smoking hotel, so everyone (including staff and locals possibly, was hard to tell but some had cushions and appeared to be settled in for a day of drinking and smoking) stands right at the open front doors and smokes. As the doors are open, the smoke then wafts into the reception area. There were other areas very close by the hotel that would suit for smoking and ensure guests who are non-smokers do not get covered in smoke every time they enter and exit the hotel.

The location is great, the close-by restaurant at the same fortress is great as well. General appearance of the hotel, the lobby, etc. is nice. The minibar is good, the staff is good. The view from the hotel and the nearby restaurant's terrace is quite nice.

Nothing that mattered in particular, we were able to live with everything. Breakfast is generally OK, but it could use more frequent refilling of the things which were consumed. We took a suite, so I presume it is not a tipical room, but the additional bed for the kids has seen better days.

Great location, overlooking the Danube river and the town. Superbly maintained architechture & interior design, gets one right in the expected "vintage" atmosphere. Staff is very prompt, kind, knowledgeable, services are excellent. Very good breakfast, the right variety and quality food. Restaurants nearby superb, with great view also of the river & town, very good service and perfect food choice.

Internet could be a hint more stable. :)

A beautiful hotel located in the heart of my fortress. The lounges are decorated with antique furniture and beautiful curtains. It's a place that takes us back in time. The suite was magnificent, with an alcove bed. The breakfast included was delicious. We had a great choice of food and drink.

It's a shame to have installed the air conditioners on the windows, because you can't close the lovely wooden shutters any more. The curtains in the bedrooms would have to be adapted to keep the room dark at night.

Receptionist was first class My husband wanted a river view but we had booked a fortress twin room On booking.com a river suite was very discounted for our night so I asked if we could change our room to it at the reduced rate with little expectation …. Attitude was yes of course no problem! Amazing and so was the suite

Wonderful hotel in a historical place of the city! Located in a fortress on the high bank of the Danube, with an unforgettable view of Novi Sad. Authentic hotel atmosphere, very rich breakfast. Two wonderful restaurants directly next to the hotel. Everything makes your stay at the hotel extremely comfortable! Comfortable bed and good quality bed linen! I recommend it for a holiday for a few days!
