The hotel offers a lovely buffet breakfast with both hot and cold options. It’s in a great location right by the Danube River, just a short walk from the Old Town. The room was clean, spacious, and had a classic elegant feel, with a comfortable bed and a view of the river.The location was fantastic for exploring Bratislava on foot. The breakfast was varied and fresh, and the staff were professional and helpful. I also appreciated the wellness facilities – the sauna and pool were a nice bonus after a day of sightseeing.

The decor felt a little dated in places, and the soundproofing could be better – I occasionally heard noise from the street trams with window open

What I liked most about this hotel was the river view – I had a room facing the water, and I highly recommend it for the wonderful view. The bed was very comfortable, and the room itself was spacious, clean, and nicely done. The building has a charming 60s character that’s been well maintained, giving it a unique feel. The staff were fantastic, especially in the restaurant and bar, where the service was warm and attentive. Breakfast was simple but very nice, with a good atmosphere. I also enjoyed the wellness area – the pool was pleasant, the sauna was good, and the massage was excellent.

There were a few things that could be improved. The lift was very slow, which was a bit frustrating. Taking the stairs wasn’t much better, as there’s a heavy door that swings back quickly – I actually hurt my arm on it. The gym also felt outdated and could really use an upgrade.

The staff were amazing, helpful, and friendly. Service was really good . The location was fantastic., right in the old town and with views of the river.

Breakfast was limited, and hot food was cold. The containers for the hot food had no hot water under them until our last day. There was no toaster until the last day. The heater under the hot water wasn't kept lit, so my tea wasn't hot. But staff are lovely. Also, the pool doesn't open until 2pm. I would have given them a 10 had the breakfast been better, and the pool opened from early in the morning.

A truly unforgettable stay – absolutely perfect! We had the most amazing experience at this hotel in Bratislava. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Upon check-in, we were surprised with a free upgrade to the hotel’s master suite – the best room available! It was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views. That gesture alone made our day and set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Everything about this hotel was just perfect: the warm and professional staff, the delicious and varied breakfast, the unbeatable location right in the heart of the city, and the incredible atmosphere that made us feel so welcome and at home. Location is great ! Very close to the bus stop and walking distance to old town. Rooms are very comfortable and the river view is amazing.

I booked two rooms for our family of four and selected the “breakfast included” option. However, upon check-in, we were told that breakfast was only included for the adults, and we were charged an additional fee for our children. This is incredibly frustrating—when choosing the “breakfast included” option, it’s reasonable to expect that it covers everyone in the booking, not just part of the group. There was no room for discussion, and we were forced to pay the extra charges. Booking.com, you need to make this clear to customers in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Clean, comfortable and within easy walking distance of the historic centre. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of options. Vegan options were available at breakfast i.e. soya milk and margarine alternative. Happy to store our luggage after check out as our flight was later in the evening. This allowed us to explore the city for our last few hours suitcase free.

Once checked out, you're no longer considered a guest thus use of spa facilities revert to full price. We therefore decided not to use these or book any treatments and instead stored our luggage and explored the city one last time.

Staff is polite, breakfast is good, rooms are comfortable, I think it should need a bit of renovation, but other than that everything is great.

I think that 30% of the total hotel price for parking is a lot, I think it should be a bit cheaper for hotel guests. I think there should be one more person working in lobby bar, as its really hard for one person to keep up with 10 tables, props to him for mixing the drinks and bartering at the same time, but I think its too much for one waiter, as the wait time is a bit long…

We loved this historic hotel directly on the Danube. We upgraded a little to a river view which also had a splendid view of the UFO and the many river boats negotiating the fast flowing flood stage Danube. The street below us was very busy but once you closed the floor to ceiling door you heard nothing. One night a great storm with lighting flashing across the sky kept us well entertained. The hotel is very centrally located and though we easily learned the public transportation system we found we walked most places. Sunday morning we had a good breakfast at the hotel and there are lots of great places to eat very close by. We found the city itself very layed back and the people genuine. The hotel staff y professional and kind. We did not have any problems with language though at times we did use google translate.

Elizabeth Taylor stayed here in 1966 but I could not figure out why. I would have liked to know more about this great hotel built in 1954 but looks brand new

Hotel Devin is most centrally located, allowing one to reach all of Bratislava's sights on foot, in no time. The Hotel disposes of its own open air parking, which makes it an obvious choice for those travelling by car. Architecturally, the Hotel presents a great deal of interest, taking the visitor back to the 1950s. Rooms are well equipped, guaranteeing a comfortable stay.

I stayed at the Hotel over the weekend, and I was left with the impression that the Hotel was understaffed. The receptionist was most conscientious, but there is only so much one can do alone. Moreover, as a wedding was being celebrated at the Hotel, some of its facilities (including the spa) were closed for the guests.

very poor breakfast as for 4* hotel. at 9h oclock no food.. staf not cleaning,not renewing plates. i asked where is glasses for water, young gir/waiterl in restaurant watched me angree.. "there".. like how i could disturbe her. 4*…. no free simple water in room. Double room- it is twin bed just bit closer:) pilows super not comfy. blanket so small. wideness as towel.. one more , by special we took not smoking room. first we opened door was greeting of horrible smell of cigaretes mixed with kinda air refreshner... fu
