Close to the city centre, nice and clean bedroom, comfy bed, clean bathroom The breakfast was good, although the options were limited, but this is a smaller hotel, so that’s to be expected. Very nice and helpful staff. The restaurant is great too, we had dinner there and the meals were tasty.

The only issue was that there was a bathtub in the bathroom, so showering was a little impractical and the water got on the floors. Also there was only one socket by one side of the bed and one socket in the bathroom so charging phones were difficult.

Location is perfect just on the walking street of the old city. Parking lots in the backyard (you drive there the next road of the walking street). Rooms are spacious with good peds and bathroom. Tasty breakfast if a little slim on selection. Stuff is friendly.

Only thing I did not like this place was the very small breakfast room. Only 5 tables there and it is quite cramped. I just wonder why the breakfast is not served in the restaurant room because they have one?

The location is absolutely unbeatable. Everything is within a few minutes' walk. Nice breakfast choices, room is good-sized. Bed was a little soft for my taste, but I still slept well. Not too loud, though there was a noticeable uptick in noise on the weekend. Showers take a LONG time to warm up. I ended up with a few cool showers as I didn't like seeing that much water run off to get it warm. Friendly staff. Overall nice experience.

This hotel is located on the main street, Hlavna ulica, where many of the main sites are located, so your close to the sites and so many restaurants and shops. The room was a little on the small size but just right for someone travelling alone and the furnishings were very nice, all around the hotel. The gentleman I dealt with at the front desk was ever so helpful and friendly and spoke English very well. There was a stocked mini fridge and prices were reasonable. Bathroom was of good size and spotless. If you walk down that main st, past the Cathedral, you'll come to a square where there is a memorial to Russian soldiers who died there in WW2. To the left is a very large 3 story mall. On the near side is a bus stop where many busses stop including #23 to the airport. At the airport, there is a nice little aviation museum for those interested. One word of warning about the restaurants in Kosice. I found they have some long wait times for a meal. One place told me it would be 1 1/2 hours to get a meal, so ask first. The breakfast at the hotel is good.It was great too that its price was included in the price of the room. Most I've been to, you have to pay extra.

Everything. Our first visit to Kosice so booked this hotel after a bit of research and we weren't disappointed. About €8 in a Bolt from the airport. The hotel is right on the main street,which is pedestrianised, so as central as you can be. The staff were all extremely friendly and professional. Our room was great, plenty big enough, spotlessly clean and with aircon. The bed was excellent and very comfy. Although in the centre of town it is very quiet. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. One day they had a run out of a few things but we were there about 30 mins from finish. If your staying here book the spa, it's fantastic. It's €30 but you get your own private spa for 90 minutes. It has a jacuzzi, sauna, heated relaxing chairs and is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. Nice bar too. Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment. I would definitely stay here again.

I have lived in hotels for the larger part of my life, I am 55 years old. But what made me rate this hotel exceptional were 1. its historic value,my room dated back to the 13th century 2. The location in the heart of this beautiful city 3. The friendliness of the staff, thank you Thomas, David and Lydia 4. Great breakfast 5. Good coffee 6. Very enjoyable spa facilities 7. Excellent location in the old town with perfect parking behind the hotel at a reasonable price. Staff were very helpful and attentive. We received 10% discount on food and beverages at the hotel restaurant and the food was good quality at a reasonable price. Good heating and cooling systems. The room lighting was very good and easy to use. The room had a big bathroom with excellent water pressure. The internet was fast and reliable in the room but didn't exist in the breakfast area. Mini bar was at reasonable prices. The cleaners managed to clean our room while we were at breakfast most days which we find delightful.

The curtains need to be blackout as the street light right outside our room lit up the room. The room and bathroom decor is a little dated. The shower head attachment was broken but fixed quickly however it was still too low. There was no sink plug so shaving was difficult. Typical of this part of Europe there are no english channels on the TV and no streaming services. More pillow options are needed as the pillows were a bit high. There is no internet in the breakfast room so my morning news read over a breakfast coffee was compromised. The eggs at breakfast were a bit shriveled and there was a lack of fresh fruit. We enjoyed the daily menu at the hotel restaurant but it was not available on the Friday night and the remainder options did not suit.

We absolutely loved the location and the possibility to park the car. You just step out through the main entrance and you're right in the heart of Košice.

Although we were aware of the additional costs for the parking and for our dog, it would be nice if they would be included in the price (as was the case in most of the other hotels/apartments during our holiday).

The room was good, but that was the last room available at Booking.com with short notice.

1. I knew I booked two separate beds, but I did not know they were in the mezzanine, and lined up one by one. 2. Because it was in the mezzanine, the room had widows in the ceiling. 3. The night temperature outside was close to zero C. Because the room had windows in the ceiling, with cloth curtains, and just above the beds, there was a draft of cold air from the windows, and quite cold in the room. I had to put the air conditioner to the maximum to warm up and change my pillow direction by 180 to avoid drafting cold air onto my face at night.

Nice hotel located on the main street so very close to restaurants and main sights. Single room was clean and comfortable and quiet so slept well. Breakfast was good, particularly enjoyed the fresh bread. Man at reception was very friendly and helpful, he made a great effort to find a hotel brochure for my collection. I would definitely stay here again and can recommend Kosice as a place to visit for a weekend break.
