This booking was made at the last minute due to an issue encountered at a different property. Consequently, we were grateful to discover this exceptional accommodation. The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Additionally, the staff provided delightful service throughout our stay.

We made a last-minute booking, so I take this into context. Initially, the first two rooms we received had some issues: Room 1 was not cleaned at all from prior guests, and Room 2 had a very unpleasant odor, which I was told was from cleaning materials. However, I brought this to the management's attention, and they were very responsive. They sincerely apologized and moved us to two alternative rooms that met our expectations. I appreciate their quick actions to resolve the situation.

I loved staying in this Lodge, for me it's the flexibility to accommodate the guest requests. We had requested an early check in and this was accommodated, when I tell you this made a huge difference in our schedule would be an understatement. The rooms are big, smell great, and the electric blanket helped in this cold winter. The staff is also friendly, we were checking out very early and requested for take away breakfast which was arranged by the time we had to leave, again this made our schedule a smooth flow. Bongiwe at reception is a keeper! There are also shopping centres nearby.

One of the TVs in the family room was not working which fustrated my kids and made them come to our room more than necessary.

The place is very clean and we got a welcome whisky/brandy in the room.Very good bed and strong wifi in a quiet neighborhood. The room was big and the aircon was excellent. There is a fridge and a very comfortable couch.I really love it and will definitely go back.

The maid came on knocked on my door violently around 12 pm and just said it's late check out is at 10 am .I told her I not checking out today she rudely said it's fine but I'm not cleaning your room it's late.she had an attitude.i didn't get her none but this happened on the 16th December 2024 .

My room was very spacious and comfortable. I loved the heater in the bathroom. There is safe parking and the gardens are beautifull. The electric blankets is a nice spoil since it can get quite cold in the winter. I loved the 2 TV’s and aircons in the unit!

There was not a microwave in the room. After enquiring about it, I was informed that it was faulty and don’t have a replacement. I could use the microwave in the kitchen. I suggest that for such an excellent venue, a spare microwave will be good. This was not a major problem - it was solved.

We loved everything. We are sad we arrived so late, because the internal and external spaces are absolutely gorgeous and we would have appreciated the opportunity to take it all in. We were received by exceptionally friendly staff despite our late arrival. The complimentary nightcap after the long trip was appreciated. I especially appreciated the separate seating area with the comfortable desk and chair to catch up with some work. Loved the shower! Loved the comfy bed.

I had a wonderful stay at Acacia Lodge. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed. I highly recommend Acacia Lodge and look forward to staying again in the future!

The only small drawback was the shower head being slightly too low for my height (1.81 meters). However, this didn’t detract much from the overall experience.

Staff was very friendly. Fast, efficient check-in. We loved relaxing next to the pool enjoying ice cold wine after a very long drive. The rooms are super comfy and we loved our little stoep with beautiful garden views where we enjoyed our take-outs, finished off with a little sweet wine provided in our room. The breakfast was really delicious. Guest house is close to N1 wich makes it a perfect over night stop. We highly recommend Acacia Lodge.

Nothing

As I was travelling with 2 large dogs, staff was willing to roll up the loose carpet in the bedroom and remove loose cushions and extra blankets from the bed so that I did not cause any cleaning problems. The only thing that I could fault was that one of the bathroom wall lamps did not work. It did not negatively impact my use of the bathroom though. I did not partake of the breakfast as I left very early.

Everything the lodge is beautiful and the rooms were super clean and new. The staff were super friendly, kind and professional. We are from jhb and came that side to visit our brother at Busamed hospital and the location is very close to the hospital. We will definitely be booking the same place everytime we go to the hospital and have referred other family members who will be doing the visits to book at the lodge. Thank you for a peaceful stay

We asked for interleading room. We got that. The staff went the extra mile. It's good that the supervisor is onsite, and assists after hours. Also, Bloem can get cols in winter. The heating was quite good in the room and bathrooms.

There wasn't enough work space/desks in the rooms we received. But we were there on leisure, but sometimes you want to sit and read and do a bit of cacthup.
