I ALWAYS choose stay over accommodation because of the cancellation policy, which in this case we had to use as we changed to a day earlier. I do not look at other accommodation that does not have that option, so that is a BIG plus for me. We have stayed in similar accommodation previously, but this was by far the most spacious and upmarket and modern by far. All the other similar places smelled a little bit moldy because of the close proximity of the bathroom, there was no such smell at all and I have a nose like bloodhound. The Sherry is such a nice gesture, the clean crisp linen and towels were great, and the nice big bath was a bonus for me. The fact that the host was in contact with me the whole time, and her, personally welcoming us, just makes one feel welcome.

The fact that in the early morning in my groggy state, I had to figure out that the security gate only unlocks from the outside. We would have appreciated more that 4 blocks of ice in the ice tray. The matrass was very uncomfortable for me personally, I like a hard matrass, and as my husband is heavier than me, I rolled down to his side, but it is impossible to cater for everyone in this regard. The aircon awoke me and my daughter every time it changed over, next time I will make sure I set it up myself. (and there definitely will be a next time). The location is good, but one still had to travel quite a bit to get onto the N1, but I would still stay there rather than another place.

The room was clean and fresh. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was comfortable and we didn't receive any complaints from the owner/manager saying that we were making noise. The can't hear through walls kept us comfortable.

Not having a door for the bathroom. It made it a little difficult to get privacy while using the toilet. Having one iron for all rooms.

Warm friendly hostess, pet friendly and very tastefully decorated with lovely toiletries, fridge with fresh milk and sherry decanter. Generous all round and very comfortable

We weren’t there for long, it was a stopover on route home on a long trip, and I couldn’t fault anything

This place was very therapeutic for me, quiet, beautiful and very neat. I Megan welcomed me with so much warmth and kindness... I appreciate it so much. I'll definitely recommend this place and I'd personally book here again.

This was such a great stay. Everyone we met there was welcoming and friendly. We also loved the Sherry they left for us. Will definitely be coming back.

Would have loved to go swimming but there was a private function. But we understood.

The place is great , the staff was great and well manered ...great location the room was super clean and comfortable and everything as shown on photos

The breakfast was like a five star hotel thank you Antoinette and Hubby keep it up.
