view was excellent. went for coffee and it was good. the room was clean

the bath was too small. the soaps were too little. we arrived to make a booking off the street and was told the hotel was full even though i could make a booking on the internet via booking.com and yet we were made to wait to see if there was space.

The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice. We loved the location… easy to run on the Sea Point promenade or to run over to Camps Bay. Shops are an easy walk away.The shuttle is very useful and free. Our rooms were upgraded to two bedroom suites and were huge with a lovely big balcony.

Very little was a problem… self service coffee at breakfast would be easier than always trying to get a waitress. There were some very noisy people in big groups at Strolla restaurant but it can’t be helped and I’m sure that the hotel welcomed the business.

The friendliness of the staff and spaciousness of our room plus the shuttle bus.

We are returning guests and the bathroom is well overdue for a refurb. Music at the weekend blasting out of the pool area was unbearably loud. We would never stay here again at a weekend.

Booked for 5 people but only four beds were done. Figured it out thus two childreb could sleep with one parent in king size bed.

I only opted to have breakfast for two days of the 4 nights stated at the hotel. The food was fresh, plenty enough for guests. I would have loved more variety.

The food was the same warm (beans, fish, sausages beef or pork, bacon). Unfortunately I do not prefer Cereals, I prefer warm porridges. However with the self catering space in the rooms, one can self provide accordingly

Breakfast was lovely. View is stunning. Location perfect. Room and hotel very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bonus was that they offer a shuttle to certain places, waterfront, stadium, etc. On the downside the bathrooms need to be upgraded.

The pools are lovely and the rooms are spacious with beautiful views. The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere around the pool area on Saturday afternoon was really good and I enjoyed the DJ. The gaming room was a huge hit with my kids too.

The bathrooms could really do with an update - they must be over 20 years old. And it would be nice to have pool loungers nearer to the pool area so that parents can relax and watch their kids, at present the pool loungers are in a separate, gated area away from the pool which makes no sense.

We really liked the Peninsula, the view is amazing, the suite was very large and up todate, The location is ideal with a free shuttle service to anywhere within 8 km of the hotel. The food is good with a free welcome buffet and drinks on Monday nights. The staff are very helpful and cheerful and nothing we asked for was too much trouble.

We liked everything.

The seaview, game rooms, gymn and the warm swimming pool. The friendly staff. We were not happy with our first room and with the help of the Duty manager and Precious we were quickly moved to a suite we like. The stove top in the suite is a plus, because we could prepare our own food and didn't have to eat takeaways the whole time. We truly enjoyed our stay😍

The room we stayed in wasn't completely soundproof. We could hear people in the corridor and faintly the children in the other room next or above us. I don't know if it is so for all the rooms. But it wasn't disturbing.

The staff are both attentive and friendly and made the stay very enjoyable indeed. The hotel is on a truly wonderful site at the edge of Bantry Bay directly overlooking the sea. The breakfast area next to the pristine outside pool with its lovely waterfall is also very special. I made use of the complimentary shuttle from the V&A Waterfront and consider this to be a very good service. We were also extremely pleasantly surprised by the offer of a complimentary "finger buffet" which turned out to be more like a very nice meal than the description suggested. The fact that the hotel manages loadshedding so well through its own generator is also worth mentioning. The suite was very well stocked with fresh linen, towels, beach towels, cutlery and crockery and having both a balcony and a jacuzzi terrace above was a treat.

The property is undoubtedly showing its age, so while the refurbishment of the reception area is welcome, our room at least does need a major refresh. The long thin configuration of our suite is somewhat unfortunate in that the lounge/kitchenette is at the back and the second bedroom is a rather pokey middle room whose only window opens out into the kitchenette, so that the sea view can only be enjoyed from the main bedroom.
