Good location, rooms cleaned everyday. Staff friendly and very helpful.

Was pleased with everything. There is building work going on across the road so work men start around 8am but we were up early anyway so didn’t matter.

The location of the hotel is the best, closer to all attrations. Easy to find. The room was well prepared for me . I love the decor, the flowers 💐 the balloons, wine oh God 🌹 I loved the setup. Even though the room was a bit small. But clean and beautiful The view from my room wow.. The friendly staff will keep on sending messages to check on you. Beautiful. The flowers and all.. beautiful..

I didn't like the inspector . who doesn't knock she just opened the door 😞 oh sorry.. She came in twice and forced the door to open . She did it upon my check in and the next day while I was in the bathroom.

The Property is was amazing and a walk to the beach , shops and other cool attractions in CPT. The apartment was just as advertised and I was extremely excited for the utensils in the self catering pod. There was daily room service and topping up of my coffee, milk tea and cookies

Because the property is located near a busy street it would be wise to get earplugs as a lot of cars rev up and down the road at night "supercars and their loud engines" I am someone who can sleep through any loud noises including JLO trying to sing a Whitney Houston Ballad. so the noise didn't bother me.

The rooms amd studios are all super new and perfect in every detail. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, one evening we cooked spaghetti for the whole family:):) The location is absolutely top because you have a huge supermarket 2 minutes walking, the Mojo Market full of different restaurants and entertainment around the corner, and the walk on the sea again two steps away. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and will do anything to make your stay great and smooth. And last but not least great value for money. We would return here in a blink of an eye if in Cape Town again.

The huge construction site in front of our bedroom was very noisy - they started before 7am on Monday morning! Would have been ok if we'd known to bring ear plugs!! I also think a full length mirror inside one of the cupboard doors would be useful.

The good: awesome location close to tons and restaurants and bars, friendly helpful staff, quite a bit of free street parking, newly remodeled, ac worked well, super comfy pillows, competitive price

The bad: the lobby is very tiny and one little bench for sitting, very funky rooms with mix and match furniture… the triangle coffee table is the worst, no coffee machine, very limited cable channels, the pool area is also tiny and the pool is ice cold Would I stay again: yes!

The hotel was brand new & in a great location. It’s spotless & our room had everything we needed. The staff are friendly & welcoming without exception.

There were a couple of snagging issues but these were resolved immediately. There is building work going on around the hotel so if you are looking for a peaceful stay then forget it.

The location and price perfectly suited my needs. The hotel is close to several restuarants, malls, beaches and the promenade. All within walking distance, you are spoilt for choice. Being a new hotel everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Finding parking is a challenge. It's best to look for parking in the side streets. Avoid the main road during business hours as parking there is costly.

Very well kitted out with iron, ironing board, microwave and cooking implements etc. A little balcony with sea and mountain views. Great location a block from the beach and Seapoint pool, plus lots of restaurant options nearby.

Nothing really. It's a little noisy, but hey, its city living and we chose it because it was so central, so expect a little city noise!

Absolutely loved staying at The Tropicana for a second time during our South Africa Trip ! Location is perfect, beach in walking distance and Mojo Markets with great food options minutes away. Felt safe walking around the area and loved the cafe right next door for amazing breakfast. Room was nice and modern with comfortable bed. Staff were all super friendly and we felt very welcomed. View from the roof top pool area was amazing as well. Great value for money as well.
