It was located in a safe , quiet , upmarket area . The house was artistically decorated, the room and its on suite bathroom spotlessly clean , spacious with adequate storage and airconditioning. Denise , the owner was gracious, helpful and approachable , without being in any way intrusive. The stay felt more like a visit to a friend in their stunning Capetown home than an average b&b. It was also small enough to get to know and chat to other guests.

Coming from the UK one gets used to the full English breakfast which is not on offer although she does eggs ( fried, poached , boiled or scrambled) . Most guests , however are from the continent and then the breakfast is absolutely fine

Everything about the stay was excellent. In particular the hostess, Denise, is very helpful and clearly wants to make sure all her guests are well looked after. Breakfast was a delicious continental breakfast followed by freshly prepared scrambled/poached/boiled eggs. There is a very pleasant patio and pool area with a great view. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, comfortable and clean.

great location and lovely view of the sea. Denise was of great help and a lovely lady. I wish i could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend and visit for a longer period next time.

it was close to everything but just out of the way of the hub. beautiful patio to sit on in the morning in the sunshine and look at the sea. Host was so lovely, Friendly and welcoming. had a lovely stay.

There is a steep hill to park you car on but it is safe and doe-able.

Friendly reception and interaction throughout my stay, very helpful and accommodating, especially with breakfast snack packs prepared for me to take to work. Amazing ocean and mountain views from the communal patio area.

Denise the owner couldn't be more helpful. Nothing seemed to be a problem. She created a peaceful oasis at Maison Fountainbleu. The breakfast was lovely. The views from the verandah are amazing. The room is spacious and comfortable.

I liked everything. Absolutely nothing I didn't like.

Perfect place for some relaxing days in Cape Town. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious, comfortable and clean. And the view from the pool area is amazing : ocean and mountain Thank you Denise for your kindness !!!

Absolutely loved Maison Fontainebleau!! Denise is a wonderful host, great breakfast and advice on how to get around, especially in times of load shedding. The perfect place for a Cape Town stay!

Denise (Host) is super kind and very „professional“. The location of the Maison is insanely good. Super nice view above Seapoint, very quite and still very close to everything (would recommend a Rental or Uber).
