A cozy, charming place in a quiet neighbourhood in Sea Point, tastefully decorated to create a tranquil and relaxing ambience. Great location with just a 2-minute walk away from many restaurants, shops and amenities. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast simple but delicious! Rob’s hospitality was top-notch: he was kind, generous and responsive - we were so glad we missed his earlier message about booking cancellation due to a storm! In fact it was such a pleasure to be Rob’s last guests in this beautiful city. Oh not to forget Smudge, the friendly guesthouse cat who would greet us every morning by demanding pats :)

Neil, our host, was wonderful.!! So friendly and helpful - provided maps of the area with lots of restaurant suggestions and also tour/sightseeing information. He was there to help with any questions. The property itself is beautiful - a lovely garden, pool, breakfast area around the pool and wonderful artworks displayed throughout ( he provided information about the artists in the info book in our room). We loved our room - a huge comfortable bed, very sound proofed and clean. We didn't have a room with a balcony but there's a lovely balcony available just down the hall The location is perfect - right near the Hop on/Hop off bus stop which is how we got around the two days we were in Cape Town. Overall, we were delighted with Neil and the property and would highly recommend Villa Costa Rose to anyone traveling to Cape Town. Thank you, Neil, for your warm hospitality

Nothing - it was great!

What a lovely guest house. The room/suite was fantastic, with a lovely balcony and relaxed seating. The entire guest house features fabulous art work by one of the owners. A lovely touch upon arrival was a bottle of white waiting for us in the fridge in our room. The location in Sea Point is fantastic. A quick Uber into town and the waterfront. The neighbourhood itself has plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The seafront is lovely to walk along, however, it is not a beach for swimming. Breakfast, made to order by Neil and his team was lovely with great options. Bonus, they have a storage room so you can leave your luggage on the day you leave and it also has a shower too! So you can freshen up before heading to your next destination.

Excellent location. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming team. Brilliant breakfast. The comfiest bed. Amazing shower. Absolutely everything you could need provided. Lush, jasmine garden with pool & sun loungers. Peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Felt safe walking around; given helpful recommendations where to visit. Can go paragliding, walk along seafront promenade to The Waterfront, get the tour bus up to Table Mountain. Woolworths mini mart (which is like a M&S) 5 mins walk away so can get snacks and drinks to pop in the fridge in your room. Complimentary water in Villa. Great to sit out on balcony of an evening. Great coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants all with 10 mins walk. Highly recommend.

We had a pleasant stay at Villa Costa Rose. The location at Sea Point was very convenient, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed, making it easy to relax. The breakfast was fine, with a decent variety of options to start the day. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the positive experience. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay with a few minor improvements that could make it even better.

The only, not really downside, was the presence of cat hair in some areas, which might not be ideal for those with allergies or a preference for spotless cleanliness.

Since we booked, Neil contacted us and helped us book a pickup from the airport (a bit more expensive than Uber but, super helpful!). When we arrived Neil greeted us and provided us with information of STUNNING restaurants and tours We booked a tour to the Cape of Good Hope through him which was great!The guest house is located right in the heart of Sea Point! It has a charming dining area where Neil makes you a delicious breakfast daily. My favourite was the eggs with bacon and a plate of fresh fruit afterwards! The room exceeded our expectations, it was really big, and after travelling for a few days staying in small rooms this was awesome! The bed and pillows were super comfy, the shower was great and when the weather was nice the balcony was a great place to relax! Neil and the staff at Villa Cosa were amazing, attentive and kind. I definitely recommend this place and my husband and I wish to come back here on our next visit to Cape Town.

Location was very good with lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to the promenade and a red sightseeing bus stop. Neil was very helpful throughout our stay! He recommended some local restaurants, sorted out breakfast for us the night before on the days we had to be up early and let us check out an hour later as we had an issue with our suitcase zip which had broken that needed fixing. Spacious clean rooms, big comfortable bed, rooms had usb charging ports which was useful as didnt need an adaptor, great breakfast. Overall a lovely stay

The property was a great location and the decor was very pleasant. It felt like you were staying with a friend who has good taste in decorating. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We had a nice balcony to sit on and enjoy a glass of wine with a great view of signal hill and table mountain. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous also. The location is perfect. It’s just a few blocks walk to the coastline walk. Also many different restaurants within easy walking distance.

I can’t think of anything. If I visit Cape Town again, this will be the first place I check for availability. We really enjoyed our stay.

We upgraded to the suite when we checked in. This was a bargain at only R300 more than the Standard Room. The Suite was exquisitely furnished and comfortable and had a lovely balcony with a Daybed where we could relax with our magazines and drinks. Neil is a very charming and helpful host, and even packed some goodies in the fridge in our room for breakfast when we advised that we were taking an early flight the next morning. Breakfast was delicious, with a large assortment of hot and cold food to choose from. Smudge who is the resident Feline only added to the charm and quaintness of this lovely place. Will definitely visit again.

The flight of stairs up to the Suite was a bit of a challenge with our Suitcases, but it was well worth it when we got to the top and saw the beautiful view of Table Mountain. Neil also very kindly assisted us.

This is a fab guest house, tucked away from the main road but close to all the facilities. Neil made us very welcome when we checked in and made sure we had a lovely vegan breakfast (we requested this in advance). Our room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. There was complimentary wine and soft drinks in the fridge which was a great touch. There is lots of fab artwork in the shared areas and corridors, produced by Neil's partner. Plus, if you like cats, the lovely, friendly Smudge was always happy to have a cuddle.

The shower pressure was a bit low.
